If you have any suggestions to improve this walkthrough, let me know by sending me an email: gamesover@planet.nl Introduction There was nothing about the starry sky that night to suggest that strange and mysterious things would soon be happening.   As unsuspecting Muggles slept, a huge motorbike with a Giant astride it tumbled down from the darkness.   The Giant, named Hagrid, left a blanket-wrapped bundle on the doorstep of number four Privet Drive. Nestled in the bundle was a baby... Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived. For the next eleven years Harry lived with his dreadful step-parents, the Dursleys. Until that faithful day when he received the letter inviting him to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Hagrid took Harry to Diagon Alley; to purchase a most unusual list of school supplies. While at Gringotts Wizard Bank, Hagrid collected a scruffy package from vault 713 mentioning to Harry that the package (whatever it was) would be safer at Hogwarts. Soon after, Harry caught the Hogwarts Express from platform nine and three quarters and left the Muggle world far behind. Dumbledore stood up: This term, the corridor on the third floor is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to suffer a most painful death. Harry sat beneath the Sorting Hat hoping that he would not be chosen for Slytherin House over Gryffindor. Not Slytherin, eh? Said the Hat in his ear. You could be great, it’s all here in your head, and Slytherin will help you on your way to greatness. No? Well, if you're sure, better be... Gryffindor. The Game Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is a wonderful and highly original game, and although being adapted from the WB Movie “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”, the game leads a life of its own. It is the first in a series of Harry Potter games yet to appear. This game is partly linear. Its settings are the Castle of Hogwarts and surroundings. Harry will be suggested to follow a certain sequence of actions by a number of fellow students at the School. In between these actions, Harry is free to explore the premises and discover all kinds of secrets. The controls are simple and minimal and are thoroughly explained in the “options” selection of the menu. It would be advisable to check “auto jump” and “invert broom control”.The designers of this game have divided it into 5 Levels which is not obvious. This can be found in the save folder of the installed game files. There is a way to obtain a selective list of the five Levels and all of their Sublevels. Whilst in the game, type Harrydebugmodeon You won’t see the actual letters and you may try this a couple of times until you will hear a quiet click, which means the debug mode is turned on. Return to the start menu and you will get two extra options: “Level Select” and “Language”.The latter option shows the conversation of the game actors but it is not the correct one. Click on “Level Select” and the Level menu will appear. The five Levels are called “Chapters” here. Each of the Sublevels may be selected and when clicked on, that Sublevel may be played. This is a “cheat” however, so if you really are looking forward to a challenging game, better refrain from the Debug mode. Turn the Debug mode off by pressing F7.I have followed the enumeration of five Levels and the names of their Sublevels in this walkthrough.   SAVE GAMES Unlike other games where you have access to all of your saved games Harry Potter will only allow you the last save game. Therefore you will have to be prepared for that. A save game will be automatically made at the beginning of a Sublevel, which is announced by a yellow screen. The screen will tell you the name of the Sublevel and what your mission is, plus the amount of Wizard Cards to be discovered (see a next paragraph). Also save games may be automatically made within a Sublevel when the game is being loaded. And finally you have an option to make your own save games by a Save Book. This is a floating ghost book: when Harry walks through one your game is saved. Once again, remember that when a new save game has been made, your previous save game has been overwritten. Whenever Harry faints (he is a Wizard and hence, Harry is immortal) you will start over from your one and only current save game. Therefore, it may also be stated that your game will be divided in a number of so-called “Save Blocks”.I have numbered the save blocks between square brackets: [2.1] meaning Level 2, save block 1. The first sentence of a save block is written in a different color to emphasize on the position of the save block. Whenever a new save game is being made, the walkthrough will inform you thus. Keep an eye on the save blocks! This is the only tricky thing in the Harry Potter game! Besides the Debug mode in which a number of save games are accessible by default (it won’t be your own game!) there is a way to classify all of the save blocks such that they are all accessible (in you own game!).You will have to make a folder containing all of the save blocks and copy the files of your save folder each time you pass a save block. This will require some experience though with handling folders and files in your Windows Explorer. A detailed description is available on request. E-mail to Dr.Hugh@pi.be   BERTIE BOTT’S EVERY FLAVORED BEANS Throughout the game you will find shattered Beans that you must collect for trading certain items. Walk into one and it will be added to your inventory. Check the menu regularly (ESC). Try to gather as many as possible!   THE FAMOUS WIZARD AND WITCHES CARDS As a side mission – or rather as a game within this game – you have the option to collecting 24 hidden Cards with the image of a famous historical Wizard or Witch. These Cards are hidden in various places, or you may trade them for a number of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavored Beans on certain occasions. Collecting the Wizards Cards is fun! When you have found all 24, an extra Bonus will be yours! The exact location of each Wizard Card will be provided in the walkthrough and an extra Chapter – the Appendix – will list the Cards and the save blocks where they are obtained. Moreover, the description of a Wizard Card in the walkthrough is set in a different color. And now, let’s play the game! Level 1: First Spells Hogwarts Main Entrance Attend Defence Against the Dark Arts class with Professor Quirrell, located on the third floor. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. [1.1] The students come running out of the Great Hall and Harry Potter meets Albus Dumbledore by the foot of the Monumental Staircase of Hogwarts’ Entrance Hall. Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am Albus Dumbledore, your Headmaster. Now, Hogwarts is full of secrets, Harry, so search behind every door. But keep in mind, not all secrets are rewarding. Only this morning I took a wrong turn and stumbled upon a room full of Chocolate Frogs. But alas, when I returned, they’d been replaced by a nasty hord of Fire Crabs. Now, up to the stairs and off to your lessons. Don’t be late! Go up the Stairs and Ron Weasley will run into Harry. Hey, Harry! Remember me, Ron Weasley? My brothers Fred and George have something to show you. Follow me! Follow Ron through the corridors and Harry will be introduced to his brothers, the twins Fred and George Weasley. Hello Harry. We can show you how to get around Hogwarts. As a first-year, you have a lot to learn. Follow us for a secret lesson. Ron says good-bye: I’ll see you later in Defence Against the Dark Arts class. Good luck Harry. A secret revolving door behind the Witch statue opens and Harry follows the twins inside. A small tutorial lesson is given by them: We’re going to teach you how to climb. Run to the bookcase and don’t stop. You’ll climb up. Above the bookcase is a Bertie Bott’s Every Flavored Bean. Collect all the Beans you can find and meet us in the next room. Proceed to the bookcase and Harry will automatically climb up. Take the Bean and turn right. Follow the path of Beans until you arrive at a room where you’ll hear a vicious laughter. Fred and George are waiting here for Harry: Well done. Now let’s try jumping. Run to the ledge, then press the Jump button to jump across. Meet us in the next room. We’ll take the shortcut and meet you there. Now you’ll learn how to jump. However, if you have checked “auto jump” in the menu, don’t bother with the jump button. Just run to the edge and Harry will automatically jump. Jump from bookcase to bookcase and grab all of the Beans. If you fall down, you can climb back up and start over from the position of the twins. Jump straight – straight – right. When you’ll jump to the third bookcase, meet Peeves, the Poltergeist. He’s always causing trouble. Peeves doesn’t like first-years, so watch your step. When Peeves hits Harry, he’ll loose some of his stamina, which you’ll notice on Harry’s lightning meter in the upper left corner. If the meter goes empty Harry will faint and you’ll have to start allover from the save point in this block. Peeves will keep on babbling and laughing, so go on with collecting all of the Beans and try to avoid physical contact with him. Jump further left – right and now you’re on the balcony. Turn around the corner, make a few straight jumps until you’re in the next room and meet the twins again: You’re getting the hang of this. In Hogwarts, you’ll meet all sorts of wicked treats. To pick up a treat, just run over to it. Chocolate Frogs boost your energy. Bertie Bott’s Every flavor Beans are fun to collect! We’re collecting them too! We need 25 Beans Harry, come back when you’ve got them all. Come see us and we’ll show you the way to class!Follow the track of Beans on the floor and climb the ledges left and right and don’t forget the Beans that are hidden behind the pillars. Climb the bookcase at the end and grab your first ever Chocolate Frog to increase Harry’s stamina.   Jump to the bookcases left and right and collect some more Beans. You should have gathered 29 Bertie Bott’s Beans by now. Go meet the twins again. Thanks Harry! We couldn’t have done it without you!  (Now aren’t they polite guys?) We need the Beans for some, ahem, experiments. Here’s a Wizard Card for you. You’ve earned it! Harry gets his first ever Wizard Card #101: Albus Dumbledore, ????-present, Current Headmaster at Hogwarts, considered the greatest Wizard of modern times. To view the Card press ESC and click on Folio Magi. Click on the card to view an enlargement in the middle pentagon of the screen. A door above the bookcase with the Choc Frog is sliding open: Climb through the secret exit above the bookcases to get to your first Spell lesson. Good luck! You’d better get going or you’ll be late for your first lesson.   Take the staircase to the left and meet Draco Malfoy for the first time in a cut scene: Well, well, well, if it isn’t the famous Harry Potter. I’m Draco Malfoy, and you’d do well to show me some respect! These are my fellow Slytherins, Crabbe and Goyle.   Naturally, we Slytherins are going to win the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup. You’d better stay out of our way, Potter. Let’s go, boys. Before following them walk around the banisters and meet... Argus filch, the Housekeeper with a dislike to Harry: Move along, Potter. Keep away from this corridor if you know what’s good for you.   You’ll see a girl waiting by the door. That’s Hermione Granger: Hello, Harry. It’s me, Hermione Granger. We met on the Hogwarts Express, remember?   Defence Against the Dark Arts is through this door. Follow me. Follow Hermione and you’ll meet Professor Quirrell: I am P-P-Professor Quirrell. T-t-today we’ll learn how to p-p-protect ourselves against D-D-Dark Magic with the Flipendo Spell. Prof. Quirrell draws a spiral sign in the air: Watch my wand. Then, hold down the left mouse b-button and repeat the p-pattern. Release the b-button when you’re done. It’s not that easy at all. Try to stay within the boundaries of the sign. Rather d-disappointing, b-but at least you t-t-tried. Try again, you can do it up to four times, and earn some points for Gryffindor: You c-can do this, Mr. P-Potter. K-k-keep trying. Your grade should pass the percentage mark mentioned below to earn some points. That’s not the shape I expected, Mr. P-Potter. Or: That was spot on, Mr. P-Potter. And: A respectable effort b-but not q-quite c-c-correct. Or how about: That was a shaky effort, Mr. P-Potter. Your first round will start with mark 50%. If you pass the mark you’ll get 5 points. The House with the most p-p-points at the end of the year wins the House C-C-Cup! And again, Mr.P-Potter. Let’s see what you can do. Your next round will have mark 65 %. Pass the test and earn 10 points. Third round: more than 80 % for 15 points and last round over 90% for 20 points. So, if you pass all four tests with splendor you’ll earn 5 + 10 + 15 + 20 = 50 points altogether. But if you fail one of the tests prof. Quirrell may or may not interrupt the exam, you never know. Whatever, eventually you’ll master the Flipendo Spell anyway but you may not have earned a maximum of 50 house points: Splendid! You may now enter the Flipendo Challenge to p-p-practice the spell. Follow me, Mr. P-Potter. Flipendo Challenge Collect 8 Challenge Stars and find 3 Secret Areas. [1.2] Prof. Quirrell gives instructions to Harry: Hold d-down the left mouse b-button to aim the Flipendo Spell. Release the b-button to c-cast the Spell. Cast Flipendo on the barrel: hold down the mouse button and aim with your directional arrows at the barrel until you notice the Flipendo spiral sign over it. Then, release the button and Harry will shout: Flipendo! The Spell will make the barrel roll into the corridor. Run into the corridor and cast Flipendo on the barrel for a second time. Now the barrel will roll down the ramp. Follow to your left, go down another ramp and stand on the blue balcony for a while: observe the bridge. Turn around and look right. There is the first Challenge Star behind a grilled door. Follow the ramp all the way down on your left side to a room where the Professor is waiting for Harry. Prof. Quirrell goes on: C-cast your Flipendo Spell at the switch on the wall to open the d-door. Then he points at a copper cauldron: Flipendo affects all sorts of things, such as this c-cauldron. Knock it over, Mr. P-P-Potter. Cast Flipendo on the cauldron and take out the Bertie Bott’s Beans. On the opposite side there is another cauldron to knock over with Flipendo. Get more Beans. Cast your spell at the Flipendo switch and the grilled door will open. Ascend the ramp and seize your first of eight Challenge Stars. Follow the red carpet, cross the bridge, and cast Flipendo on the cauldron collecting some Beans. There is a Flipendo switch on the wall to your right. Cast a Spell at it and you’ll see the bridge rotating through 90°. Well d-d-done. Now g-go on and c-collect your Challenge Stars. I’ll meet you further on. Jump down and go see Prof. Quirrell: You may c-cross the b-b-bridge now, Mr. P-Potter. Go up the ramp again and on top cross the bridge on your right. Your 2nd Challenge Star is on the other side. Descend the next ramp and you’ll hear a door closing down behind Harry’s back. Enter the room on your right and make acquaintance with a new character: Nearly Headless Nick (played by Monty Python Actor John Cleese). Hello, Harry Potter, I am Nearly Headless Nick, the Gryffindor House Ghost When you touch it your game will automatically be saved. The game will restart from this point if you faint. You can also load a Saved Game from the Main Menu. Goodbye! Save your game now.   [1.3] Turn around, cast Flipendo at the jar on a pedestal and extract a BB Bean. Further in the room are two Flipendo switches on the walls. Charm any first one to open the door. Charming the next switch will open the grille. Follow the blue carpet, up the ramp and on your right. You’ll enter a room with three switches on the walls. First apply Flipendo on two cauldrons to receive some Beans. Charm each of the three Flipendo switches and the 1st Secret Area in the middle will unlock. Go inside and capture the 3rd Challenge Star and four Beans. Follow the blue carpet and meet Prof. Quirrell: Approach the Professor again: The b-block can be moved but only so far. And again: Run t-towards the b-block and d-don’t stop, you’ll c-climb it.Cast Flipendo on the block. Come down from the step and charm it a second time. Climb the block and jump to your right. Now you’re on a green carpet. Cast Flipendo twice on the next block and climb it. Jump to your right and proceed along the dark green carpet. You’ll be entering a new passage with a brilliant green carpet. Turn left and cast Flipendo at a jar between two lit candles on a table. That’ll augment your number of Bertie Bott’s Candies. Turn around and go save by the next Book.   [1.4] Cast Flipendo on the jar and receive a few more Beans. Continue around the corner to your left and cast Flipendo on another block. The block will move on and drop down a bit, thus forming a bridge to the opposite side. Jump and follow the brilliant green carpet to the right where you’ll see another tall block. Cast Flipendo. Follow the moved block and turn left. Harry will climb the ledge.Turn left and cast Flipendo on the cauldron at the end of the carpet. Take out the Beans. Turn back and cast Flipendo at the switch on the block standing on the balcony. That will open the grille on top of the ledge on your left. Return to the edge and jump to the high block. Jump to the ledge and seize your 4th Challenge Star and some Beans. Hop to the block and jump off on your left side. Turn left and climb the two steps. Cast Flipendo on the next tall block. That will move and drop down. Run and jump to the block and from here jump left to your 5th Challenge Star. The next section will be tricky. There is a river of blue goo below a number of floating blocks to jump on. Cast Flipendo at the switch on the left wall and the first block will start gliding towards Harry. Jump to the block when it slows down in order to reverse and ride it to the next stable ledge. Jump to that ledge and cast Flipendo at the wall switch. Now the block on your left starts gliding. Jump to it and cast Flipendo at the switch on the left wall. That will open the grilled door next to the switch. Jump to the next block. This is the trickiest of all jumps. You should jump when your block is still away from the next one. Jump left to the 2nd Secret Area, and acquire your 6th Challenge Star. Flip the cauldron for a couple of Beans and turn around. When the block approaches jump to it and ride it to the next stable ledge. Cast Flipendo at the switch on the wall. Now you’ll have to jump to two more blocks. Let the first block arrive and jump to it and from this one to the second one when it is near. Turn right and cast Flipendo on the tall block. Jump to the ledge and cast Flipendo on the block once again. The block will move and sink halfway into the floor. High on top you’ll spot the Challenge Star. Enter the Secret Area and climb on top of the ledges. Grab the Beans and your 7th Challenge Star. Let the block approach, jump and ride it to another stable ledge. Jump to it and cast Flipendo on the switch. The next block starts moving now. Jump to that block and ride it to the final ledge where the doors will open wide. Harry will enter a corridor with a red carpet once again. Go right and down the slope you’ll find a Save Book. [1.5] Proceed and the doors will open. Listen to Prof. Quirrell: This is a Gnome, Mr. P-Potter. They like to p-p-pester young Wizards. Knock him on his b-b-backside to c-complete the Challenge. They move quickly and c-can be q-q-quite a nuisance. If a Gnome will hit Harry he’ll take away three of your Bertie Bott’s Beans. First take care of the Gnome sitting behind the left armchair. Go easy on the second one on your right, sitting behind the first armchair, and then stun the third Gnome hiding behind the second armchair. When the three Gnomes are stunned the door to a next room will open. Before entering cast Flipendo on two jars each standing in a corner and take away the Beans. Collect your 8th and last Challenge Star from the alcove opposite to the fireplace. Enter the next room and meet Quirrell: You c-collected all the Challenge Stars! 20 p-points for G-Gryffindor! Now hurry on to b-broomstick p-p-practice. Back in their Gryffindor Common Room, Harry, Ron and Hermione talked about their exciting first days at Hogwarts. There was much talk about the break-in at Gringotts Wizard Bank. But there was little time to dwell on this, since Harry and his friends were expected at their flying lesson with Madam Hooch. Flying Lesson Flying lesson with Madam Hooch. Fly Harry through the hoops. Find 1 Secret Wizard Card. Find 1 Secret Area.   [1.6] Harry meets Madam Hooch outside: I am your instructor, Madam Hooch. For your first lesson, you will fly through these magic rings. Control your broom with the direction keys. The speed up and slow down keys adjust your flight speed. Ready Potter? On my whistle, then. Now you’re going to fly on that broom! There are 82 rings to fly through and it all depends on your speed whether you’ll find enough time for them to pop up. First you’ll have to fly through 11 lilac rings. Next, 11 blue and then 11 yellow rings. The yellow rings will bring you upward. Speed up and you’ll get another 24 orange rings and finally 25 red ones. When you approach Hogwarts’ symbol fly in. The circular symbol will open and you can enter the Secret Area with the Wizard Card and a number of Beans. Capture your Wizard Card #1: Merlin, Medieval, dates unknown. Most famous Wizard of all time. Sometimes known as the Prince of Enchanters. Advisor to the Court of King Arthur. If you want to go as far as the red rings you’ll really have to speed up! Your average score will be 15 house points.   When time is up Madam Hooch will give you the points: From now on you may practice flying at any time. You will find the option on the main menu. If you can fly through all 82 rings, you’ll eventually get 20 points! I also congratulate you for being the first student to find the Secret Room since 1867. Time for your Charms lesson, now. Good day, Mr. Potter. Wingardium Leviosa Lesson Attend Professor Flitwick’s Charms Class on the fifth floor. Find 2 Secret Wizard Cards. Find 7 Secret Areas. [1.7] Harry is now in a room with 2 armor statues and a bunch of fellow students. Cast Flipendo 4 x on each tin soldier to get a small collection of Bertie Bott’s Beans. Left of the armors you can cast Flipendo on a cauldron and get some more Beans. If you go to the students standing on the room on the red rug one of them will say: Have you met Hagrid? He’s so large I can scarcely see the top of his head. Then go meet Hermione who is standing in front of a door with a sparkling padlock: You’re early for the lesson, Harry. But I’ll teach you a new Spell I’ve learned on my own. The Spell I learned is Alohomora. It will open magically locked things, but don’t get into any mischief. When I stop, hold down the left mouse button and make the same pattern, then let go off the button. Just like last time with the Flipendo Charm of Prof. Quirrell, you get four tests. Your first grade is 50%. If you make it past the grade, Hermione will say: Great Harry, I’m sure Prof. Flitwick would give you 5 house points for that charm. The second grade is 65%, third is 80% and fourth is 95%. The next points you earn are 10, 15 and 20, resp. This procedure will be the case with all other Spells you will learn in this game. Now you try using Alohomora. We still have a few minutes before the Charms lesson. Thatdoor in front of you is magically locked. Cast Alohomora to open it. Cast Alohomora onto the door. It will open and Harry and Hermione run into the next room. You’ve got it, says Hermione. Now... can you find the two Secrets in this room? Cast Flipendo on the tin armor (it will throw a Bean for Harry) and a first Secret Door will open. Inside you’ll find your Wizard Card #28: Tilly Toke, 1903-1991, Awarded Order of Merlin First Class for saving lives during the Ilfracombe Incident of 1932, when a Dragon swooped down a beach full of sunbathers.   Cast Alohomora on the bookcase. That will open an access to a next room with a large mirror. Harry will admire himself in the mirror (he’s handsome, isn’t he?): If you’re done admiring yourself, Harry, take a look at that magical chest. Cast Alohomora to unlock it. Cast Alohomora on the chest and it will open and spit out some Bertie Bott’s Beans. Next, cast Alohomora on the mirror. Inside you may catch a Chocolate Frog. Get out of here and cast Alohomora on the door and enter the next room. Here inside cast Alohomora on a painting. Enter the Secret Area and cast Alohomora on the chest to extract some Beans. Then, cast Alohomora onto the door. Harry will now return to the first room. First cast Alohomora on the bookshelves. Cast Alohomora on the bookshelves   Climb the ledges into the Secret Room and open the chest with Alohomora. Get more Beans out of that chest. Leave the room and look at the painting between the two tin armor men. Cast Alohomora on the painting. That will open and unveil a Secret Area with one BB Bean. Inside, a wall will open up and give access to two chests. However, if you did not cast Flipendo four times on each of the tin men at the beginning of this save block, do it now or that wall would not open up. The two chests are opened with Alohomora and contain a number of Beans. Now go out and save by the Book. [1.8] Professor Flitwick welcomes the students: Welcome young Wizards. I am Professor Flitwick and today you will learn the levitation Spell: Wingardium Leviosa. By now, you know how to learn a spell. You can get up to 50 points for Gryffindor if you can follow the W-sign four times correctly passing the marks. You may now enter the Wingardium Leviosa Challenge to practice the Spell. Follow me, Mr. Potter. Follow the Professor to the next room. Cast Wingardium Leviosa on that statue, then move it onto that large plate. Charm the statue with Wingardium Leviosa and place it onto the square plate left or it. You may repeat the charm if the statue won’t move far enough. In that case, go stand near the statue and apply the Spell again. That will open a door. Well done, says the Professor. Now go and collect the Challenge Stars. I’ll meet you at the end. Good luck, Mr. Potter! Go inside and cast Flipendo on a cauldron for some Beans. Turn right in the corridor and a door will open allowing two Gnomes to attack Harry. Stun them with Flipendo. The door gives access to a room with a Flipendo switch. Cast Flipendo on the switch. The grille door in the previous corridor will open and you can take your first Challenge Star. Go down the stairs and save your game by the Save Game Book. [1.9] Go down the stairs and knock over two cauldrons with Flipendo. Take out the Beans. There are two bookcases with a Bean on top and a chest is standing in the middle. Cast Alohomora on the chest for Beans and a Choc Frog and grab the Beans on top of the bookcases. Enter the next room and take care of two more cauldrons. In the middle of the room there is a tin soldier. Cast Flipendo twice on him to get more Beans. There are two Wingardium Leviosa blocks in front of the tin soldier. Further there are two tall blocks with Flipendo signs on them. If you look well you’ll notice a Gnome hiding behind each of these blocks. Cast Flipendo on each block and immediately stun the Gnome that is thus released. When the blocks have moved aside you can cast Flipendo on two switches on the wall. Those will open the grilled doors on each side in the room. Now you’ll have to move each W-block onto the platforms in the newly opened rooms. Cast Wingardium Leviosa on these blocks.   These will open two parts of a sealed door towards a Challenge Star. Go and take your 2nd Challenge Star. Then you’ll be entering a wonderful balcony with a Save Book. First go left and grab your 3rd Challenge Star. Now save your game. [1.10] On the other side of the balcony you will have to move another statue with the Wingardium Leviosa Spell onto the square plate. Once you’ve done that, a floating ledge will come near, so you can take a ride to the opposite side and grab your 4th Challenge Star. Here on this side there are two more statues that have to be lifted with Wingardium Leviosa and placed upon switch plates. The first will trigger a floating ledge and the second will open a door in the wall giving access to a Secret Area. Once inside, first cast Flipendo on the wall switch. That will make a second floating ledge with a Challenge Star come near. Then, cast Alohomora on the large mirror giving access to the actual Secret Area. Climb some ledges until you’ll arrive in a room with three chests and Challenge Star #5. The chests can be opened by charming them with the Alohomora Spell. One of them contains a Wizard Card, the others BB Beans.   Take your Wizard Card #10: Burdock Muldoon, 1429-1490, Chief of Wizard’s Council 1448-1450. Jump down the hole catching the 5th Challenge Star and go to the balcony where you may jump to the floating ledge. Turn left and jump to the ledge with your 6th and final Challenge Star. Return to the previous ledge and from there jump to the opposite side when the ledge is near. Prof. Flitwick will meet Harry there: You’ve collected all the Challenge Stars! 20 points for Gryffindor! Now off you go!Cast Wingardium Leviosa on a statue and levitate it onto the plate. A wall will open giving access to a Secret Room with a chest inside. Cast Alohomora on the chest and retrieve a number of BB Beans. Go out and approach the exit door. This will open and you’ll enter a new sublevel. Second Floor Landing Attend the Herbology class with Professor Sprout. The way to the Greenhouse is out through the Main Entrance. Find 3 secret Wizard Cards. Find 3 Secret Areas. [1.11] A Harry Potter Owl will fly in and leave a parchment roll. Cast Flipendo on the cauldron on your left side and take out three BB Beans. Take the parchment. It reads: Harry, don’t be late for the Herbology lesson. I’m waiting at the entrance of the greenhouse. See you there soon. – Hermione.Cast Alohomora on the chest and take out the Beans. On the opposite side you’ll notice a bookcase in betweens some climbable ledges. Climb all the way up and cast Alohomora on the mirror on top. That will open a Secret Room. Inside cast Alohomora on the chest and retrieve some Beans and the Wizard Card #24: Adalbert Waffling, 1899-1981. Famous magical Theoretician. Leave the Secret Room and continue left to a large room with a Choc Frog on a red rug in the middle of it. When you’ll approach the Frog, Peeves will come in. Look at his life meter in the lower left corner. You’ll have to hit him four times with Flipendo: aim the Spell at him and cast it onto him. He’ll open the grilled door and leave.A Choc Frog will be jumping in the opening. Go there and catch it. Go down the stairs, and a secret wall door will slide open. Fred and George come out! Hey, Harry! Do you have 25 Beans for us? We need Beans for some, ahem, experiments. Talk to Fred, he’s the one with the Wizard Card. Approach Fred: Nice work Harry, you found all the Beans we needed for now. Receive the Wizard Card #18: Uric the Oddball, Medieval, dates unknown. Highly eccentric Wizard who is famed, among other things, for wearing a jellyfish for a hat. Thanks for helping us out, Harry!  Fred and George leave by the secret entrance. Go through the portal, down the stairs and another Potter Owl will fly in leaving a message from Hermione: Harry, if you’re late for Herbology lesson, Gryffindor can lose house points. Hurry up - Hermione. Turn right and cast Alohomora on the wall painting. A Secret Room is unveiled, climb in. Cast Alohomora on the chest and take some Beans. Go out and continue to your right. Two Slytherin guys - Crabbe and Goyle - will stop Harry. Hey Potter, do you like surprises? Malfoy’s got a present for you. You’d better watch your step around here, Potter. Slytherins don’t like Gryffindors.Cast Flipendo four times on the Witch statue and it will reply each time with a vicious laughter providing Harry some Beans though. Cast Alohomora on the chest left of it for even more of those precious Beans. Turn around and go down the stairs, take a left and cast Flipendo on a jar. Now turn around and climb the stairs again. Turn right by the Witch statue and follow the corridor with the blue carpet. Down the stairs meet a funny guy: Hello, Harry. I’m Neville Longbottom. This is my Remembrall. It tells you if there’s something you’ve forgotten to do. Oh! It’s telling we have Herbology class soon! Oh! I almost forgot! Watch out for Draco Malfoy! I saw him sneaking around here just a moment ago.Cast Flipendo thrice on the statue on your left side. Grab your Beans, turn around, go down the stairs and cast Alohomora on the mirror in front of you. Go inside the Secret Room and climb the ledge on your right. Turn around and jump to the opposite ledge. Turn around and jump to the opposite ledge once again. And once again, turn around and jump to the opposite ledge. Cast Alohomora on the lock... and open a Secret Area   Open the chest with Alohomora and get a number of blue Beans and... the Wizard Card #8: Derwent Shimpling, 1912-present. Ate an entire Venomous Tentacula on a bet and survived, though is still purple. Come out of this room and turn left into the corridor. Cast Flipendo on the jar on your left. Further on, on top of the Monumental Staircase and in front of the two tin armors is a Save Book. Hit both armors with Flipendo and receive a couple of Beans. Save now   [1.12] Go down the Monumental Staircase and meet Draco Malfoy: Well, well, Potter, we meet again. Having a tour of the Castle are we? This is as far as you’ll be going. You won’t get past me, no matter how hard you try. These Wizard Crackers should make you feel better. They’re surprisingly fun. Here, catch. Now, Draco is going to throw Crackers at Harry. They will lie on the floor for some five seconds and then explode. If Harry is near, he will loose some of his stamina. What you should do: pick up a Cracker (just walk into one) and run towards Draco. Then, press spacebar to throw the Wizard Cracker back at him. With some luck the Cracker will explode on Draco, so he’s the one who is going to loose some stamina. Keep an eye on his health meter in the lower left corner. When Draco is defeated he’ll be pretty angry: Curse you, Potter! Next time, you won’t be so lucky! Draco is running off and Harry may leave the Entrance Hall. Approach the door that will open and enter... Level 2. Level 2: Outside Hogwarts     Hogwarts Grounds Attend the Herbology class with Professor Sprout in the Greenhouse. Find 2 secret Wizard Cards. Find 7 Secret Areas. [2.1] Harry leaves the Entrance Hall of castle Hogwarts and meets the motorcycle Giant who dropped him at his foster parents’ house when he was a baby. Hello, Harry, it’s me, Hagrid! Good to see yeh! These are the Hogwarts castle grounds an’ I’m the gamekeeper, o’ course. Can’t believe how quickly everythin’ grows ‘round here. Yer friend Hermione is at the entrance to the Greenhouse waiting for yeh. Drop round fer tea later, after yer lessons are done. Obviously Hagrid has a warm heart for Harry! Cast Alohomora on the water fountain and it will move forward, unveiling a Secret Courtyard with a chest. If you cast Alohomora on the fountain again it will retreat. Should you bump into Hagrid once again he’ll have some nice one-liners for Harry: Yeh better get to yer Herbology lesson. Cost yeh House points if yer tardy, don’t yeh know. Yeh’ll need ter attend yer Herbology class. Professor Sprout’s in the Greenhouse waitin’ fer yeh. I’ve got ter trim these weeds, they never stop growin’. Is that Irish accent, or what? Cast Alohomora on the chest inside and obtain a set of Beans and a Choc Frog. Go out and turn right where you’ll spot a guy guarding a sealed door: Off to your lesson, Potter. You’re not allowed in here, Potter. Get to your lessons.Turn around and follow the path left. Where the path splits you may decide to explore the left side under the bridge. You’ll see a guy guarding a portal. He’s got three things to say: Go to your lessons, Potter. You don’t even know how to play Quidditch. Stick to your flying lessons, Potter, and maybe one day you’ll make the Quidditch team. The Quidditch pitch if off limits to you, Potter. Go away. So, that’s it: the entrance to the Quidditch pitch! Hmm... sounds promising. But for now, backtrack and meet Hermione: The Herbology lesson is just past Professor Sprout’s garden. I’ll wait here for Neville. I think he’s lost again. Go on, Harry, you’d better get to the lesson. One thing is quite sure now: you’ve got to go to the Herbology class, understand? Enter the archway. Here you’ll notice three arches. Enter the courtyard (not by the red door) and cast Flipendo on the statue of the Dragon. You can cast Flipendo on that Dragon forever, but only the first four Spells will extract some BB Beans. Go out and continue through the arch with the red door. Harry is entering an arcade and the red door will close behind his back. At the end you’ll notice a Gargoyle face spitting water. Nice picture. Follow left under the first arcade and turn left. Cast Alohomora on the chest and obtain some Beans and a Choc Frog. Now here’s a fine labyrinth where you are introduced to a lovely kind of pet: the Giant Orange Snail! These fellows secrete a yellow track of acid slime. Avoid contact with them or their slimes, or Harry will loose some of his precious stamina. Ouch! There are two entrances to the first alley where two Orange busters are patrolling. Stand on the first wooden bridge, wait for one to pass by and cast Flipendo on the Snail to temporarily stun it. Turn left and cast Flipendo at the switch on the wall. Turn around and stun the Snail again should the bugger wake up. Pass it and stun the second Snail also with Flipendo. Pass it, grab a Choc Frog and cast Flipendo on the wall switch. That will open the gate to the second alley. There are two other Orange Snails here. Stun each of them with Flipendo and cast Flipendo at the switches on the wall. When hungry, there’s another Choc Frog to eat. The entrance to the third alley will open, and you’ll just have to repeat all the same things here: two Snails to stun and two switches to charm with Flipendo. As a result, you can then enter the opposite arcade. There’s a Choc Frog on your left in the alley. At the far left end of the second arcade you’ll find a save book. Save the game. [2.2] Leave the arcade and enter the gardens. In the dark alley you’ll find a chest on your left. Open it with the Alohomora Spell and extract some Beans and another Choc Frog. Turn around, run to the other side and enter left. Now here you’ll be introduced to another vicious kind of enemy: a Poisonous Tentacula! Alas, there’s no Magic spells against these carnivorous plants for the time being! Approach and pass them fast when they just have tried to attack. Pass two Tentaculas, grab a Bean and find a chest on your right. Alohomora will get you four Beans out of that. Pass the third Tentacula and you’ll see three wrought iron arches.   Take the left arch and meet a Dragon statue. Cast Alohomora on the statue. It will turn through a quarter circle and left of it a Secret Entrance will open. Go inside and enter a courtyard on your right with another Dragon statue. Cast Flipendo on the Dragon.   The Statue will now revolve through a full circle. Cast Flipendo again. It will turn around again and provide Harry a lot of BB Beans. Grab all of the beans and leave through the arch and follow the alley on your right. There are three Tentaculas on your right side. Pass the first two, grab a Bean and open the chest on your right side with Alohomora.   Take five Beans and pass the third Tentacula. Now there’s another Dragon statue on your right. Cast your Spell on it and the statue will rotate, opening up a Secret Area. Enter. You can go left or right around the corner. Open the chest with Alohomora. Take out a Choc Frog and a Bean. Then, turn around and notice a brown pad under the middle of the hedge. In fact this pad is the end of a gravel path sticking out from the other side of the hedges. Keep an eye on those pads in this sublevel. They indicate an accessible Secret Area. Cast Alohomora on the hedge section above the pad. Run in fast as the doors will soon close again. If so, cast Alohomora on the hedge again. Standing on the bridge, cast Alohomora on the next hedge section above the path of gravel. That will open the last Secret Area of the gardens. In the last area of the Secret Garden you’ll meet a Dragon Statue and three Gnomes. Stun each of them Gnomes with Flipendo. Open the two Chests with Alohomora and get a lot of Beans and a Choc Frog.Cast Alohomora on the hedges again (where Harry came through) and exit this Secret Area. Turn right, under the wrought iron arcade and immediately turn left. Pass two Tentaculas on your right side. This is a tricky move! You’ll enter a courtyard with a Wingardium Leviosa statue. Charm the statue and move it onto the waterfall. Then, a cinematic will show you how a wrought iron door opens. You may now proceed to the door and exit. But in that case, you’re going to miss a number of Secret Areas! However, keep that door in mind. Turn left and cast Alohomora on the hedge section above the brown pad. That will open a new alley with some Tentaculas. Pass the first Tentacula and grab a stunning Bean on your right. Turn right and notice a hidden chest. Cast Alohomora on the chest and receive some Beans and a Choc Frog. Harry is getting almost invincible thanks to all of those Frogs! Now pass the second Tentacula. Here you’ll see another Dragon statue standing next to a Tentacula. Notice the brown pad under the hedge, on the right side of this Tentacula. Cast Alohomora on the hedge. Pass the Tentacula and grab the Bean. Beware of the second Tentacula in front of Harry! Left of it you’ll notice another brown pad under the hedge. Cast Alohomora. In the next Secret Area you’ll find a chest to open with Alohomora. Get several Beans out of it. Turn left in the small alley and go till the end. The hedge door opens and you’ll meet the previous Dragon statue again. Cast Alohomora in front of the statue. A door opens behind the statue. Enter this Secret Area. Take the Bean under the arcade and enter the courtyard with four water basins and another Dragon statue. Go stand in front of the statue and cast Flipendo on it. You’ll be rewarded with Beans. Leave this area, past the previous statue, turn left and pass that Tentacula once again. In front of the second Tentacula (where Harry casted Alohomora on the hedge left of it), turn right and follow the alley. You’ll have to pass one more Tentacula on your left side, grab a Bean and you’ll arrive by the door that opened up a while ago in that small cut scene. Enter and turn left in front of the Tentacula. Careful here. Quickly sneak to your left where there is a Choc Frog in the alcove – if you need one. Go out through that door again. Now enter the arcades. Harry will find the Greenhouse behind the second arcade. Open the chest left of the Greenhouse with Alohomora and augment your stack of Beans. As soon as Harry is nearing the Greenhouse entrance, Fred and George appear out of a secret entrance in the grass floor: Hey, Harry! Have you collected 25 Beans? Thanks for helping us out, Harry. Here’s a Wizard Card, then. Hope you haven’t this one, yet. Come on, George. We’ve got work to do. Take your Wizard Card #’41: Godric Gryffindor, Medieval Wizard, dates unknown. Co-founder of Hogwarts. Gave his name to one of the four Hogwarts Houses.Go to the right side of the Greenhouse and notice the familiar brown pad under the narrow hedge section. Cast Alohomora at the hedge on the right side of the Greenhouse.   Enter this Secret Area all around the Greenhouse and arrive at two Dragon statues on the other side. Cast Alohomora onto each statue and a Wizard Card will appear in the middle of them. Earn the Wizard Card #2: Cornelius Agrippa, 1486-1535. Celebrated Wizard imprisoned by Muggles for his writings. Return all the way around the Greenhouse to the entrance of it. The doors will open, enter the building... Herbology Class Complete the Spell lesson. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. Find 1 Secret Area. [2.3] Harry enters the Greenhouse and meets Professor Sprout. Welcome, class. I am Professor Sprout. Today we’ll learn the Incendio Spell, which is useful against all manner of dangerous plants. Observe the correct Incendio symbol. Hold down the left mouse button and follow the pattern. Then, release the button. Obtain 5 points for mark 50%, 10 points for mark 65%, 15 points for mark 80%, and 20 points for mark 95% - the same thing as always when learning a Spell. You can get a total of 50 House points for Gryffindor! When you master the Spell, Sprout says: Now it’s time for the Incendio Challenge. Through the doors, Mr.Potter. I’ll watch you from the balcony.Harry enters a room full of a kind of cactus plants: Those are Spiky Bushes, says Prof. Sprout. You may cast Incendio on them but step back to avoid their needles. Cast Incendio on all of the plants and step back whenever you do. Cast Alohomora of the chest and extract a BB Bean. Cast Flipendo on the wall switch. A door will open, releasing two Gnomes. Quickly stun each of them with Flipendo. Proceed through the opened door and cast Flipendo on a cauldron. Careful here! A third Gnome will try to get you! Behind the corner there’s a save book. Save.   [2.4] In the next greenhouse room Harry will find lots of Spiky Bushes and a Tentacula. Approach the Tentacula and Sprout will say: This is a typical species of Venomous Tentacula. Cast Incendio to wilt it. After you wilted the Tentacula with the Incendio spell Professor Sprout goes on giving instructions: Good work. Now collect the Challenge Stars to complete your lesson. Away you go! Now why are all of these Spiky Bushes here? Of course... to deceive Harry! Cast Incendio on each and everyone. Find a chest in each of the four corners and cast Alohomora to retrieve the Beans from them. Now leave this chamber and get your first Challenge Star. Now you will arrive in another Greenhouse with a tree in the middle. In each of the four corners there is a plant case. Cast Alohomora on each. The case will then fall down and unveil a Flipendo switch on the wall. Cast Flipendo on these four switches. Each plant case will erect and hide the switch again. Then, the tree in the middle will rotate and go down in the floor, opening a staircase going down. Go down and stun the two Gnomes with Flipendo. When that’s done you’ll get a Card! Take the Wizard Card #19: Newt Scamander, 1897-present. Celebrated author of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. Cross the bridge and take your 2nd Challenge Star. Ascend the staircase and save by the book. [2.5] Cast Alohomora on the lock of the door. Harry enters the next room with a girl who is standing in front of a large tree: Those vines are attacking that poor tree! A kind of Fairy is flying in: That looks like a Doxy! When the Doxy attacks cast Flipendo on it to get rid of it. Don’t let it come near to Harry, it will bite him.If Harry approaches the tree he’ll say: Those vines are dangerous! I’d better not step on them. Don’t step in the water either, it’s some kind of acid. Cast Incendio on each of the vines and the tree’s branches will lower down. On the right side there a Frog jumping up and down on a branch. Jump to that branch first and have the Chokkie. Jump to the second branch. Next, jump to the third branch and get your 3rd Challenge Star. Jump to the fourth branch and gather the Beans. Jump off the tree and cast Alohomora at the lock on the second door. When the door opens, two Doxies fly in. Cast Flipendo on each of them. Go inside and cast Flipendo on the cauldron to earn a few BB Beans. There’s a save book on the right side. So... save. [2.6] Jump to the wooden ledge where you will see an arrow pointing to the right side. Follow the arrow: climb the spiral staircase. You’ll arrive at a ledge with another arrow. There is a Tentacula behind the tree. Cast Incendio to temporarily stun the carnivorous plant. Jump to the opposite ledge and stun the next Tentacula. Go down from the stairs and an elevator will lift Harry. You may now look down in the hollow tree. Climb these stairs, turn around where the arrow is pointing to the left side and jump to the ledge. Cast your Spell on the Flipendo switch. That will trigger the elevator by the tree left of the switch. First cast Incendio on the Tentacula, then jump on the elevator platform when it arrives. Ride down and jump to the ledge with the next Challenge Star. Grab your 4th Challenge Star and ascend the stairs to save by the book. [2.7] There are 4 Gnomes in the room on top of the stairs. Some kind of Flipendo stuff first! Left cast Incendio on all the Spiky George Bushes Jr. That will release a chest! Cast Alohomora on the chest and release a whole lot of Beans! Go to the next room and empty the cauldrons with Flipendo. There are three Wingardium Leviosa statues here. Levitate each of these onto the plates behind them. When the three statues are lifted onto the plates return to the previous room where the grille door will now have opened unveiling a Flipendo switch. Cast Flipendo on the switch. That will open the door to a next Challenge Star! Go take your 5th and final Challenge Incendio Challenge (B) Continue collecting the last 3 of 8 Challenge Stars. Find 1 Secret Wizard Card. Find 2 Secret Areas. [2.8] Harry is standing in a room, in front of a closed gate. Turn left and cast Alohomora on the chest in the corner. You’ll be rewarded with 4 Bertie Beans. On each side of the door you’ll spot a Flipendo switch in the corner. Turn left and cast Flipendo on the switch. That will open the gate but also a hidden hatch in the wall between the sign and the gate, releasing a Gnome. Be prepared to stun the Gnome with Flipendo. Turn to the other side and repeat. This will open the second gate (a grille) and release a Gnome. Enter through the gates and continue. Left you’ll find a Save Book and a Challenge Star behind a closed gate. Turn right and behold... a monstrous six-headed Tentacula! Cast Incendio on the giant Tentacula.   When the Tentacula is (temporarily) stunned run around it and do not touch its leaves (auch!). Cast Flipendo on the switch in the opposite room. That will open the gate. Turn around and cast Incendio on the Giant Tentacula once again. Run around and grab your 6th Challenge Star and save. [2.9] Cast Flipendo four times on the green Dragon statue to extract its BB Beans. Go around the statue and catch a Chocolate Frog. Go out and on your left there is a corridor with a row of three Spiky Bushes on each side. Cast Incendio on all six to clear the walls. When you’re inside, a gate behind Harry’s back will close. Check the corners of this room: you’ll find a Choc Frog and two chests. Open them with Alohomora to collect more Beans. From the middle of the room you’ll notice two blocks facing the walls each carrying 3 Flipendo signs. Harry should move the blocks sideward. Stand in the sliding track – left or right, it’s all the same - and cast Flipendo on the block. Behind it was a hidden switch. Cast Flipendo at the Switch on your right side; it will open the opposite gate. The switch on the left wall will open a second gate (grille). Enter the gates, turn right and – if you need more health – catch the Frog. If not, keep the Frog as a desert, you may need it a bit later. Now you’ll see a dark corridor with fluorescent Tentaculas. Cast Incendio on the first Tentacula on your right and temporarily stun it. Pass it very close and climb the ledge. Turn around and when the Tentacula wakes up, stun it again with Incendio. Climb the second ledge and eat or leave the Choc Frog. Ascend the slope and climb two high steps. Turn around and jump to the ledge. Again, turn around and jump to the ledge. Turn around and you’ll see a ledge with a Flipendo switch. Jump to the ledge and cast Flipendo at the switch. Turn around and notice a Secret Ledge with a Challenge Star and a chest. Jump to the ledge and acquire your 7th Challenge Star. Get a whole bunch of Beans out of that chest with Alohomora. Go all the way down to the step with the Frog. From the edge on your right cast Incendio on the Tentacula. When it’s stunned, jump down and run through the gates. This way, you have avoided the middle Tentacula which is very hard to stun. Eat another Choky and turn left where you can save by the Book. [2.10] You’ll be entering a small labyrinth with 10 one-headed Tentaculas hanging on the walls. Cast Incendio on the first Tentacula to stun it. Harry can safely pass and quickly stun the next Tentacula. Be fast and pas all 10 Tentaculas. There are two Chocolate Frogs on the way. Past the tenth Tentacula you can climb the step on your left and lift up on the wall. On the other side of the Secret Area there is a chest. Jump from wall to wall and open the chest with Alohomora. Harry will earn his Wizard Card #47: Edgar Stroulger, 1703-1798, Inventor of the Sneakoscope. Return to the opposite side by the grilled gate and jump down by the door. Stun the Tentacula opposite to the door (the ninth) and cast Flipendo at the switch on the wall. That will open the gate to the 8th and final Challenge Star. Follow the path until you’ll arrive at a very peculiar Greenhouse with a central (but dry) fountain, four kind of geysers and four Flipendo sluices. Cast Flipendo on each of the water sluices. That will let water flow from four sides into the fountain which will start pouring water. The opposite gate will now also open. Pass the gate and follow the path until you’ll meet Prof. Sprout: Congratulations, Mr. Potter. You completed the challenge!   You’ve collected all the Challenge Stars! 20 points for Gryffindor! Now, off you go. Hogwarts Front Attend the second Flying lesson which is located in Hogwarts’ grounds. [2.11] Harry is standing on the path leading to Hogwarts’ Entrance door. He watches Hagrid trimming the bushes. Walk up to Hagrid. There yeh are! I hope yeh did well in yer Herbology class! I’ve got somethin’ I need to talk to yeh about. Be best ter discuss it back at me hut. Meantime yer goin’ to be late fer yer Broomstick trainin’. Off yeh go.Continue along the path and find a chest on the right of the fountain opposite to Hogwarts’ Entrance. Cast Alohomora on the chest and retrieve a whole lot of BB Beans. Go left but don’t follow the ramp going down yet. Turn right and you’ll meet Hagrid again. He’ll give Harry some precious advice, one of the following three variations: Yeh’d best go an see Neville Longbottom, he’s over by Broomstick Training. Yeh’d best get over an’ see Neville. He’s got himself cornered by a pack of Slytherins.  Or: Looks like yer friend Longbottom is havin’ a bit o’ trouble with Malfoy. So now you understand that there is something going on with Longbottom being hustled by Malfoy and his gang of Slytherins! Go on and turn left under the bridge. Grab all of the Bertie Bott’s Beans you find on the grass and talk with the guy by the Quidditch Pitch entrance. He may also formulate one of three phrases that he obviously keeps repeating: Go to Broomstick Training, Potter. Don’t be late. Come back when you’re big enough to fly a broomstick!  Or: Go to your lessons, Potter. Quidditch isn’t for first years.OK, got the point? Harry has to go practice Broomstick Lesson! So, return and you down the slope. Ron comes running into Harry: Here comes Neville – he looks quite upset. Best go and see what he wants. Neville seems in panic: Please help me   All of a sudden, Malfoy and his Slytherin pack join in: So Longbottom has gone snivelling to you. And you want me to give you his precious Remembrall? Apparently Malfoy has taken away the Remembrall from Longbottom: I think I’ll leave it somewhere for Longbottom to collect... how about... up a tree? Think you can catch me?   Come on then, Potter! So, THAT’s Harry’s Broomstick Lesson. Remembrall Chase Knock Malfoy off his broom until he returns Neville Longbottom’s Remembrall. [2.12] Harry and Malfoy face one another hovering on their brooms. But Draco Malfoy keeps on challenging Harry: You want the Remembrall back? See if you can catch it. And you better watch out for my Bludgers! Follow Malfoy in what is going to become the thrill ride of your life! You’ll have to constantly press the acceleration button to keep track of him AND avoiding obstacles, bushes, trees, tunnels, bridges and on top of the Bludgers Draco is erratically launching. If Harry hits any obstacle he’ll loose stamina, so keep an eye on his health meter.   Each time you succeed in hitting Malfoy he will loose some stamina too. Watch his own health meter in the lower left corner. After some 4-5 hits a warning message will appear if you’re still on his tail: Press JUMP key to bump Malfoy!   Press the jump key and it all will come to an end. A cinematic will follow where a deeply frustrated Malfoy is blaming Harry: You damaged my broomstick, Potter! You’ll pay for this!   Here, take the stupid thing! I’ve no use for it. Malfoy throws the Remembrall at Harry. Hogwarts Front 2 Find Hagrid’s hut. [2.13] Harry runs up the ramp again and meets Neville near the Entrance of Hogwarts. You got my Remembrall back! Thanks, Harry, I’ll be able to find my toad now! Harry returns the Remembrall to Neville   Come here, Trevor! Come back!  Apparently “Trevor” is Neville’s toad: I remember now, I left Trevor near the Herbology class. There are plants there that eat toads!Trevor leaves the scene and a lady comes in: Mr. Potter, I’m Professor McGonagall. She’s the Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts, and Head of Gryffindor House. Although I do not approve of your chasing Malfoy about, I’ll admit you have remarkable talent on a broomstick. Ordinarily, first year students may not compete in Quidditch. In your case, we might overlook that rule. Harry, Gryffindor’s first Quidditch match of the year is later this afternoon, against the formidable Slytherin team. See you then!Continue past the fountain and the Main Entrance and enter the open gates of the gardens. Forest Edge Find Hagrid’s Hut. Find 2 secret Wizard Cards. Find 7 Secret Areas. [2.14] Follow the arrow into the hollow tree – a bridge to the opposite side. Cast Flipendo on the log and that will roll away from Harry. Go left into an inner garden with all kinds of logs. Notice a number of Spiky Bushes on the ledge. Proceed on your right near the wall and turn left. Cast Flipendo on the log blocking Harry’s way, and let it roll into the niche in the rocks. Turn right and cast Incendio from this spot on the Spiky Bushes. You can’t flatten the middle Bush though, now matter how hard you try Incendio on it. So climb the lower tree trunk on the left side of the long log. Follow the log and climb the next trunk. Climb the ledge and the next log in the direction of the arrow. From here, cast Incendio on the remaining two Spiky Bushes and hop down to the chest. Cast Alohomora on the chest and take the BB Beans out of it. Climb the previous log again and observe the situation. Jump to the next log and cast Alohomora at the chest on the other log. The chest will spit out Bertie’s Beans tumbling down. You’ll have to go all the way down and pick them up. Hey! Isn’t that something? Now Harry discovers a Secret Entrance! Go inside and cast Alohomora on the chest to extract a single Beanie. Climb the ledge in the dark area on your left. Climb another ledge and follow the passage. You’ll be entering a garden full of patrolling Giant Orange Snails. Quickly cast Flipendo on the attacking Doxie. Pass the Snails (you may either stun them with Flipendo or quickly pass one, avoiding its track of acid slime). Past the second Snail another Doxie will attack. Apply Flipendo. Climb three ledges at the end and apply Alohomora to the chest to obtain a whole lot of Beans. Return past the Snails to the log garden and climb all the way up, jumping your way to the ledge on your left. Pass three more Giant Snails and find a Flipendo arrow pointing at a tree log and an arrow pointing at a Save Book. Better save here. [2.15] Go after the Chocolate Frog on the right of the Flipendo arrow. This arrow means: Cast Flipendo on the log... and it will collapse into a bridge.   Suddenly 3 Doxies in a row attack from the left side of the bridge. Cast Flipendo on them one by one and get rid of these nasty flying pests. Cross the log bridge and cast Alohomora on the chest on the opposite side. That will get Harry more Beans. Run to the left side of the Snail, have a Chocolate and cast Flipendo on the next log (see that Flipendo arrow?). That will form a new log bridge. Let the Snail pass by and climb the trunk. Cross the bridge. From the trunk past the bridge you may observe the scenery first. Jump to the next two trunks on your left side. If you fall down, walk up the ramp and cross the bridge once again. Turn right and notice a hidden chest in the central bushes. Jump in and cast Alohomora on the chest. It’ll get you some Beans. Jump out to the trunk again and to five more trunks on your right. You’ll see an arrow pointing at a Save Book. So... save. [2.16] There are three Spiky Bushes on your left side. Cast Incendio at the outmost right Bush and inflate it. Now that will unveil a hidden Flipendo switch on the rocky wall. Cast Flipendo on the Switch and the hollow log above the water will rotate through 90° and form a bridge to those... Spiky Bushes?   Cross the bridge and inflate these two Spikies from a safe distance with Incendio. Jump to the opposite side. The arrow is pointing at a passage infested by 2 one-headed Tentaculas glued on the walls. That’s right, Harry, you’ve done that before. Cast Incendio on the first Tentacula and when it’s stunned pass it and cast Incendio on the second one. Turn left and jump from the ledge on the left side, out of reach of that Tentacula. Stun it with Incendio and jump from the ledge by the arrow. It’s getting a bit tense now. You’ll have to cross a narrow passage with two Tentaculas in front and three patrolling Giant Orange Snails. Stun the Tentacula on your right with Incendio and pass it. Immediately stun the Snail on your right with Flipendo and pass it. Before following the arrow to Hagrid’s Hut turn left and cast Incendio on each of the five Spiky Bushes in the corner. That will unveil an arrow and a chest. Cast Alohomora on the chest for a number of Beans and go left into the Secret Cave. Go up and down some ledges until you’ll enter a dark cave with a couple of pools and a chest. Alohomora on the chest will get you more Beans.Behind the chest there’s another arrow. Climb the next ledges and reach a chest in front of a waterfall. Cast Alohomora on the chest and seize your Wizard Card #35: Bowman Wright, 1492-1560. Famous for developing the Golden Snitch. Return all the way to the entrance of this Secret Area and quickly hit all three of the giant Orange Snails with Flipendo. When they’re stunned all three together a secret block will rise.   Climb the block and cast Incendio on the first Spiky bush on top of the steps. Inflate that Spiky bubble.   Climb the next step and cast Incendio on the second Spikey. Climb the next step, follow the path over the bridge and take the BB beans on the way. You’ll be entering a Secret Cave with a chest. Cast Alohomora on the chest, obtain some Beans and the Wizard Card #11: Herpo the Foul, Ancient Greek. First known creator of the Basilisk. Return all the way down and follow the arrow to Hagrid’s Hut. Approach the fence and Harry will go inside. Fireseed Caves Collect the Fireseeds. Find 2 secret Wizard Cards. Find 8 Secret Areas. [2.17] When Harry enters the fence, Hagrid calls him: Harry! Over here! Come along, then... I’ve somethin’ ter show yeh at me hut. By the way, congratulations on making the Quidditch team! Word travels fast ‘round Hogwarts. Hagrid takes Harry into his hut: Welcome to me home, Harry. It’s small, but still roomier than yer cupboard under the stairs, eh? Now I can show yeh what I wanted ter talk ter yeh about.Hagrid shows Harry a Dragon’s egg in the fireplace: It’s a Dragon’s egg, Harry. But it’s our secret, mind yeh! The egg is in a very delicate stage. I can’t leave it here alone, but I need some Fire Seeds ter give it that last burst o’ heat ter make it hatch. Harry, can yeh fetch me some Fire Seeds? I grow them in caves, out in me garden. I need yer to collect as many Fire Seeds as yer can find. Careful though. They’re spittin’ fire and the seeds are hot. Let ‘em cool down ‘fore yeh pick ‘em up. Off yeh go then!Harry leaves Hagrid’s Hut. Follow the arrow behind the open gate. Immediately past the arrow a Doxie will attack. Make it vanish with Flipendo. The road follows under an arch. Stun the two Giant Orange Snails with Flipendo and pass them safely. Past the arrow pointing to the right, turn left behind the bushes and find a chest. Cast Alohomora on the hidden chest   You’ll get a one and only Bertie Bott’s Bean out of that chest. Now follow in the direction of the arrow and enter a cave. Take care of an attacking Doxie.Climb the ledges by the far wall, turn right and jump to the central block. Turn left and jump to the next block. Cast Alohomora on the Secret Door. Go inside and cast Alohomora on the chest for a number of Beans. Go out, jump from the vertex of the edge to the central block and from there to the block with the Chocolate Frog. Follow the arrow inside the cave. You’ll see two Giant Orange Snails in this cave with waterfalls.   It’s easy to pass the Snails without stunning them. But before doing that turn left and look down. Some ledges are leading down... jump down... and find two chests.   Cast Alohomora on each of the two chests in the Secret Cave and get out all of their Beans. Go up past the Giant Snails and continue to the next cave where you’ll have to jump from block to block on your left side until you reach a ledge with a Save Book. Save the game. [2.18] Look to your right. You’ll notice a Doxie in a cave entrance and an arrow pointing at another cave entrance. For now, continue straight on. In the next room there are two wooden beam doors, left and right, and in front of Harry there is a mechanism with a Flipendo sign. The left door will slide upwards. Go in. Turn right and cast Alohomora on a Secret Door. Enter the Secret Area and turn right. You’ll have to jump over a gap, but on the other side there is a patrolling Giant Orange Snail! First cast Flipendo on the Snail, quickly jump and continue jumping to the next ledge. On your right there is another room, with a chest and a mechanism. Open the chest with Alohomora and take out the Beans. Flipendo on the mechanism will open the beam door on your right. Go in. Recognize this room? That’s were you entered before. Go ahead and look at your left: that’s the cave with the Doxie and the arrow. Continue straight ahead and follow the arrow into the open air. Jump right to the ledge. Jump to the next ledges until you may enter a new cave with a Chocolate Frog. Do not enter the cave but instead look down. There are ledges on your left side   Jump down to the first ledge. In this cave you will find your Wizard Card #17: Morgan le Fay, Medieval, dates unknown. King Arthur’s half sister. Dark Sorceress. Enemy of Merlin. Cast Flipendo on the mechanism in this cave. The central pole will go down now. Jump onto it and ride upwards. Jump off. There’s a Chocolate Frog, catch and eat it. Go out here and observe the scene. Cast Flipendo on the pole. It will fall and form a bridge to the opposite side. Jump and cross the bridge to the arrow. Jump to your right to the Save Book. [2.19] Go through the waterfall and cast Flipendo on a boulder that is blocking Harry’s way. The rock will roll further. Cast Flipendo on that boulder again such that it will tumble into the void. Jump to the opposite side where a chest is hidden in a Secret Area. Cast Alohomora on the chest and take the Beans. Return to the cave where two boulders are blocking your way out left and right. Move them away with Flipendo. Turn right and enter a room with a Chocolate Frog and a chest. Open the chest with Alohomora and augment your treasure of BB beans with one extra Bean. The other room has an arrow pointing in the direction of another boulder. Move it away with Flipendo. Enter the new area and turn right. That must be a Fire Seed plant. Hagrid told me to stay away from the hot seeds. Cast Flipendo on the plant. It will shed three hot Seeds. Let the Seeds cool off and grab the three Seeds. The log beam door will open then. In the next room a Doxie will fly in. Make it disappear with Flipendo. Cast Alohomora on the chest in there and take away the Beans. Now you’ll be entering that ledge where saw the Doxie before, remember? That’s the one you just made vanish. Turn left and jump to the ledge with the arrow. Continue left and save. [2.20] Jump to the next two blocks and to the waterfall on your right. Enter and cast Flipendo on the next Fire Seed plant. Wait for the seeds to cool off and grab 3 more Seeds. Go out and jump to the block with the arrow to your right. Follow the arrow, jump to the next block, turn right and climb two ledges. You’ll spot a chest in a cave, but don’t jump there... Harry would tumble into the deep and... faint! Instead, turn left. Jump to the next block, and jump to the waterfall. There is your 3rd plant. Catch up to 9 Seeds! Cast Alohomora on a Secret Door. Go inside, cast Alohomora on the chest and take out the Beans. Jump out the waterfall, turn right and jump to the next ledge. You’ll see an arrow in front of you, pointing to the right. Instead go left. Here is your 4th plant. Cast Flipendo and take the cooled off Seeds. Now, you’ll have 12 Seeds. Go out, follow the arrow and cast Flipendo on the boulder. This one will roll down from a ramp. Go down. Now you’ll be going to be acquainted with another fine pet: the fire shitting colored Turtle! This one will point its ass at Harry and launch some fireworks at him! Cast Flipendo on the Turtle and knock the bugger on its back. Cast Flipendo to push it into the hole. Climb the ledges and save by the Book. [2.21] Follow this passage to your left and cast Incendio on the two-headed Tentacula to pass it safely. Harry already knows that. You’ll find a Chocolate Frog. Cast Alohomora at a Secret Door on your left, just past the Tentacula. Follow left, and cast Alohomora on the chest to retrieve the Beans. Cast Flipendo on the mechanism and the door on your left will open. Go inside. You’ve been here before! Climb those ledges again and this time go right. Stun the one-headed Tentacula with Incendio and follow the arrow. Back inside, follow left. In this corridor Harry has to stun two wall Tentaculas (with Incendio). He will enter a room with his next plant. Cast Flipendo on the plant to extract the glowing Fire Seeds. Now Harry has 15 Seeds! Go out on the other side. Again, there are these two Tentaculas. Stun them with Incendio and follow the passage. In this room, you’ll find a Chocolate Frog, an arrow pointing to the right, a chest and a Save Book. Cast Alohomora on that chest and take one Bean. So, please, save. [2.22] Follow the arrow, you’ll be back on a ledge above the pool. What now? It seems like there is no way out of here. Cast Flipendo on the Stalactite.   The Stalactite will fall down so Harry can jump onto it. Turn halfway left and cast Flipendo on the second Stalactite. Jump to that one too. Cast Flipendo on the next Stallie. Now you’ll notice an arrow pointing left on the next ledge. Turn right and cast Flipendo on the Stalactite. Jump to the ledge with the arrow. Then, jump to the stalactite that just fell down. Jump to the Secret Room with the chest and open it with Alohomora. Take out a couple of Beans. Go out and jump to your right and on to the ledge with the arrow. First enter the room on your right and cast Flipendo on the plant. Now you have collected 18 Fireseeds. Go out by the arrow and cast Flipendo on the next Stallie on your right. Again, one more Flipendo on a Stallie and you’ll be watching two Giant Orange Snails on the next ledge patrolling. Pass the two Snails by casting Flipendo on them and proceed to the next cave where an aggressive Turtle is shooting its ass to hell! Cast Flipendo get the Turtle on its back, and once again Flipendo to push it into the water below. Go left   Jump the blocks in the water and continue in the corridor. You’ll be entering a new cave. Jump to the block. Turn right and observe two Giant Orange Snails on other blocks. Cast Flipendo to get them stunned and jump to these blocks and on to the third block. Turn right. Jump to the next ledge. Climb the ledges until you’ll reach a room with a chest and a mechanism. Cast Alohomora on the chest. Take out the Beans and cast Flipendo on the mechanism. The door on your right will open. Go in, ignore the left opening and follow the passage to the arrow to your left. First go right and cast Flipendo on your last plant. Collect up to 21 Seeds. Now follow the arrow and cast Flipendo on the boulder blocking Harry’s way. Go down the ramp and on to your right. Harry will run to Hagrid’s Hut: Great work, Harry! Yeh’ve collected all the Fire Seeds I need. Here’s a Wizard Card fer yeh, from me own collection. Walk to Hagrid and he will give Harry’s Wizard Card #48: Salazar Slytherin, Medieval Wizard, dates unknown. Co-founder of Hogwarts. Gave his name to one of the Hogwarts houses.Come on inside, Harry. Wipe yer feet now! Hagrid and Harry go inside the hut: Go ahead and put ‘em in the fire, Harry. Yeh’ve done it, Harry! It’s hatchin’! Ain’t he lovely! I’ll call him Norbert. He’s a Norwegian Ridgeback, yeh know. Up Yeh come, me beauty! Watch Norbert being born. Hagrid is very grateful: Thanks, Harry. Here, take this flute. It can be used ter help some creatures sleep.  Keep that in mind! You’d best get ready for Quidditch now. Should be an excitin’ game! Slytherin‘s a tough team, but you’ll show ‘em, eh? Hmm, we‘d better give Norbert his first feed soon. Quidditch Match: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin As the Gryffindor Seeker, catch the Golden Snitch and help defeat the Slytherin team. [2.23] Welcome to Quidditch, I’m your commenter, Lee Jordan! It’s Gryffindor versus Slytherin. The Quidditch pitch has three goals at each end.   The Chasers throw the Quaffic and try to put it through the hoops to score. Watch out for the Bludgers. It’s his job to find and catch the Golden Snitch.Another voice (rebuking) says: Jordan! No favoritism! Remember, first avoid the Bludgers, then find and catch the Snitch. [3.1] Harry enters the Entrance Hall of Hogwarts and meets Hermione: Congratulations again for winning the Quidditch match against Slytherin! You were fantastic! Something is troubling me, Harry. Ron and I heard strange noises outside the forbidden corridor. Come up to the third floor and have a look. Walk up the Monumental Staircase and follow right. Turn left around the corner by the statue and ascend the stairs. About halfway on the blue carpet turn right and go up the stairs to the floor where Harry had fought Peeves the last time. As soon as you’ll enter the large Hall, you’ll watch Fred and Ron running into an open door. Stand on the central red carpet and observe the Hall. All doors are open now and you can explore this entire floor for Secret Areas and Chests. You can also walk up to fellow students and they’ll say something to Harry, but not always that nice. But first turn around and cast Flipendo on each of the blue jars for some Beans. Now turn around again and follow straight ahead to where you just saw the Twins disappearing. Smash the green and the blue jar with Flipendo and grab the Bean from the blue jar. Approach the doors and they will open for Harry. Enter the room with the fireplace and turn right to the three cabinets. Cast Alohomora on the middle cabinet   It will lower in the floor and release a Flipendo switch. Flipendo on that switch will open a Secret Hatch in the wall behind Harry’s back. Enter the Secret Room and open the chest with Alohomora for a number of Beans. Now leave here, approach the fireplace and Fred and George will appear out of that: Hey, Harry! Have you collected 25 Beans? Approach Fred: Thanks Harry, we really needed these. They’re for a little joke we’re playing on Slytherin. Receive your Wizard Card #69: Bertie Bott, 1935-present. Inventor of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans. Go out of the room with the fireplace and turn right where Harry may open a chest with Alohomora. It will get Harry some extra Beans. Turn around and follow the corridor to a room with a tin armor and a Save Book. Walk down the stairs in the corner and enter the central part of the room. Cast Alohomora on the armor... and enter a Secret Room.   Open the chest with Alohomora to increase Harry’s amount of BB Beans and continue right. Go down the stairs and on your left. Be prepared to enter a Secret Parlor on your right with 5 Gnomes! First knock the Gnomes on their back one by one with Flipendo. Cast Alohomora on the chest and take out a whole lot of Beans. There isn’t much else to do here, so leave this entire Secret Area. Go out by the armor in front of the Save Book, but don’t save yet. Follow the stairs on your left side and turn left. Knock a blue jar to pieces with Flipendo. Now turn around and follow the corridor. Open the chest on your left side with Alohomora and retrieve some Beans. Past the chest enter a kind of Pharmacy on your left. Immediately to your right, cast Alohomora on the cabinet with the shelves. Inside this Secret Room stands a chest with some Beans. Open with Alohomora. Proceed to the next Pharmacy room. There is a red carpet in front of a cabinet. Cast Alohomora on the cabinet to unveil a Flipendo switch. Standing on the carpet, cast Flipendo at the switch. Harry will go down to a Secret Lower Floor and end up facing a chest. Open with Alohomora and grab the Beans. Turn around and cast Flipendo on the wall switch. Harry will go up again. Leave both rooms of the Pharmacy. Follow left and right and you’ll be back in the main Hall. Continue straight on. In the next room cast Alohomora at the chest on your left sidefor some more Beans. Continue to the next room and knock over two cauldrons with Flipendo. More Beans! Return to the main Hall; continue past the Pharmacy to the room with the tin armor and the Save Book. Now is a good time to save. [3.2] Pass the girl and walk up the stairs to the third floor. It’s a long climb so keep running upward. When Harry finally reaches the third floor, he’ll watch Professor Snape coming out of the forbidden corridor and entering a Secret Door. Ron and later also Hermione come join Harry. Ron: Wow, did you see that? Professor Snape just came out of the forbidden corridor! He’s limping quite badly! Come on Harry, let’s take a look before Filch comes back. Ron and Harry listen by the entrance to the forbidden corridor: Hear that growling? I think there’s something awful down the corridor. Hermione enters the scene: Better tell me on the run... we’ll be late for our Defence Against Dark Arts lesson! Go inside and meet Prof. Quirrell a second time: T-t-today we’ll learn t-to illuminate D-D-Dark Magic with the Lumos Spell. Quirell tells all the same things like in Flipendo class: Watch my wand. Then, hold down the mouse b-button and repeat the p-pattern. Release the b-button when you’re done. Like always you’ll get 4 rounds and the grade increases with each round: 50%, 65%, 80% and 95%. Earn respectively 5, 10, 15 and 20 points for Gryffindor. Lumos Challenge Collect the Challenge Stars. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. Find 4 Secret Areas. D-don’t d-d-dawdle, Mr. Potter. C-cast Lumos on the statue to expose the c-correct p-p-path.The Lumos Spell has exposed a yellow Magic Cloud over the chasm: That’s q-quite b-b-bright, isn’t it? Now you c-c-can c-cross the chasm and c-collect your Challenge Stars. I’ll meet you at the end.Walk over the Cloud and collect your 1st Challenge Star on the opposite side. Approach the door and it will open. You’ll be entering what looks like an empty Cathedral. Turn right and break the two jars with Flipendo. Each will offer a Bean. Go inside.   Follow the Cathedral’s ship past two Flipendo switches on the walls and first open the chest at the end with Alohomora to find some Beans in it Turn around and cast Flipendo at the switch on your right side. That will open the two grilled doors. Take the entrance to the right and cast Alohomora on the alcove with three lit candles on your right. Alohomora on the candles... opens a Secret Room.   Go inside the Secret Room and open the chest with Alohomora for many Beans. Go out this room and cast Lumos to the Gargoyle on the right. A camera view will go to the Cathedral’s ship and show a Magic Cloud being formed higher up. Go out and cast Flipendo on the opposite switch. That will also open both grilled doors on this side. Go inside and past the second door enter an octagonal room with a Gargoyle and two jars on a pedestal. Break the jars with Flipendo for a couple of Beans and cast Lumos on the Gargoyle. Four Magic Clouds are then charmed in this room. Jump on the lowest Cloud and further from Cloud to Cloud to the balcony on the second floor. Cross the Magic Cloud to the opposite side and grab your 2nd Challenge Star. At the end of this corridor cast Alohomora on a chest and get out the Beans. Follow left to the Gargoyle and cast Lumos. A long section of Magic Clouds is formed past the Save Book on your left. But save first.   [3.4] Cross the three Magic Clouds and cast Alohomora on the circular colored pattern on the far wall. Jump to the round opening and collect your Wizard Card #37: Cassandra Vablatsky, 1894-1997. Celebrated Seer and author of “Unfogging the Future”.Go out of the room and jump to the first Cloud and from there to the balcony on your left. Catch Challenge Star #3. You’ll be entering a new room with two jars and three arches. Break the jars with Flipendo for an extra couple of Beans and go through the arches on the opposite side. Cast Wingardium Leviosa at the statue on left and move it onto the plate on your right. That will open the gate to the Gargoyle between the two stained glass windows. Cast Lumos on the Gargoyle and you will be shown how a vertically floating Magic Cloud is charmed in the large room. Return to that room and jump on the Cloud when it’s near the floor. Ride to the second floor and jump. You are near an alcove with three lit candles. Cast Alohomora on the candles and enter this 3rd Secret Area. Cast Alohomora on the chest for the Beans and seize your 4th Challenge Star. Leave and follow left. Enter the room further on your left with a bright painting and a Gargoyle. Cast Lumos on the Gargoyle. Turn around and cross the gap by the newly formed Magic Cloud. Jump into the opposite room with a Flipendo switch and another Gargoyle. Flipendo on the switch will open the gate on your left side. Lumos on the Gargoyle will form a Magic Cloud to the balcony with the Star in the large room. Leave through the new exit and follow all the way left till the corner. Jump to the Magic cloud and to your 5th Challenge Star. Follow the passage to your next Save Book. [3.5] Now you’ll be entering an octagonal kind of Mausoleum in the middle of a circus. Don’t enter the Mausoleum yet but turn left into the circular passage and enter the room with the Chocolate Frog on your left. Eat the Frog and cast Alohomora on the chimney stone between the two lit chandeliers. Cast Alohomora on the chest for more Beans and another Choky Frog. Go outside and continue straight into the Mausoleum. You’ll spot a Challenge Star in the center of it. As soon as you’ll capture this 6th Star, all doors to the Mausoleum seal off and... Peeves flies in. This fight is a bit harsher than last time. So keep an eye on both of the health meters and avoid the Bludgers Peeves is constantly throwing at Harry. Cast Flipendo until Peeves’ health meter is fully down, and he’ll flee off, opening all doors again. The exit door is on the opposite side of the entrance you came in. Approach the door, it will open and you may save again by the Book. [3.6] Turn left and cast Lumos on the Gargoyle hidden in the dark on your left. That will make the door close again and charm a Magic cloud sliding over the next gap. Stand on the balcony and watch the Cloud approach. Then, jump on it and ride it till the ledges on both sides. Jump to the ledge on your right first. Immediately turn right under a couple of arches, grab the Chocolate Frog and cast Flipendo on each of both jars on a pedestal. Harry will have increased his stamina and obtained some more Beans. Leave and continue right to a room with two chests. Open each chest and extract a whole lot of Beans. Follow down the stairs on your left. Be careful by the second set of stairs. A hatch on the opposite side will open releasing an attacking Doxie. Quickly make it vanish with Flipendo. In this dark room turn left and jump to the platform around the central pillar of a tower. Run around the pillar and jump further to the ledge with the Star. Catch the 7th and final Challenge Star and enter a room with a Chocolate Frog and a boy that is lost. Eat the Frog and open the chest with Alohomora for a whole bunch of Beans. There is a door with a lock. Enter the room with a Flipendo switch and cast a Spell on it. You’ll trigger a 3 parts bridge being formed above the gap with the sliding Magic Cloud. Backtrack all the way to the room with two chests, continue right till the gap and wait for the sliding Cloud to approach. Look up to the newly constructed bridge.   Jump to the sliding Cloud and to the opposite side. As soon as Harry lands a hatch will open with another attacking Doxie. Solve this pesky problem with Flipendo. Turn left under the arches and cast Lumos on the Gargoyle on your right. You’ll watch a cut scene showing a vertically floating Magic Cloud back on the opposite side of the gap near the arches. Jump back to the other side over the sliding Cloud and climb the new Cloud lift when it is near the floor. Ride to the top. Jump to the ledge on your left.   Here you’ll meet Nearly Headless Nick again: Hello again, Harry. Clever lad! You’ve found my secret napping place, shh! Turn left and cross the bridge to the opposite side avoiding the Save Book on right side for now. There is a room with a Gargoyle in the dark. Cast Lumos and watch how a Magic Cloud is charmed orbiting the central pillar of the tower higher up. Return to the bridge, turn left and save by the book. [3.7] Turn right inside the circular passage and follow till the end where you’ll spot a chest. Open it with Alohomora and get some more Beans. Follow the passage all the way around to the other end and catch the Chocolate Frog if you like. Return halfway and enter the balcony on your left. Wait for the Magic Cloud to arrive and jump on it. Ride to the opposite ledge and jump off. Professor Quirrell is waiting for Harry: You c-c-collected all of the Challenge Stars! 20 p-points for G-Gryffindor! Now, off t-to your P-potions lesson. The Dungeons Find Professor Snape’s Potion classroom, located in the Dungeon. Find 2 secret Wizard Cards. Find 2 Secret Areas. [3.8] Harry runs out of a door and enters the Second Floor Landing. Turn right and cast Flipendo thrice on the statue. Turn around and run from the stairs. Cast Alohomora on the large mirror.   Jump into this Secret Area and to the next ledge. Walk backward and automatically jump to the opposite lower ledge. Turn around and walk backward such that Harry will drop down to ground level. Continue right and cast Alohomora on the lock of the door. Careful: you’ll have to stun two Gnomes in there. Cast Alohomora on the chest and obtain a lot of BB Beans. Go out and climb the ledge on your left. Turn around and jump to the higher ledge. Repeat this twice and come out of the mirror. Turn left and right behind the corner cast Flipendo on a jar. Take out the Bean and return upstairs to the statue Harry just charmed. Continue left of the statue and ascend the stairs. On top of them turn right and cast Alohomora on the painting.   Climb into the Secret Room, open the chest with Alohomora and catch the Beans. Go out, turn right and a voice will call Harry: Psst, Harry! Over here!   The painting opposite to the stairs slides upward and Fred and George appear from behind: Have you collected 25 Beans?   Jump on the table with the candles and approach Fred. Nice work Harry, you found all the Beans we needed for now. Here is a Wizard Card, then. Hope you don’t have this one, yet. Remember, you don’t know anything about us collecting Beans. It’ll be our secret, right? The painting secures again and the Twins disappear. Harry is left behind with his Wizard Card #62: Ignatia Wildsmith, 1227-1320. The Witch who invented Floo powder. Continue left and go down the stairs; turn right and cast Flipendo four times on the Witch statue. Turn around, down the stairs and on your left there is another jar to break with Flipendo. Proceed to the armors and Ron will run down the Monumental Staircase. First cast Flipendo on each of the armors. You may go on casting Flipendo on these tin guys forever, but only the first shot will shake a Bean out of them. Go down the Monumental Staircase and immediately turn around left and spot a chest in the corner. It wasn’t there before!   Cast Alohomora on the chest and obtain your Wizard Card #57: Gifford Ollerton, 1390-1441. Famous giant-slayer. Killed the giant Hengist of Upper-Barnton. Proceed to the door where Ron went in: the one to the right of the Staircase. The door will open and Harry will run in. Potions Lesson Find the Potion Ingredients. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. Find 2 Secret Areas. [3.9] Harry runs down the stairs to the Dungeons. Keep going down until you reach a lugubrious room full of color-smoking cauldrons. Meet a dark, unfriendly individual: I am your Potions teacher, Professor Snape. Today, you will learn how to mix a Wiggenweld Healing Potion. You’re late for Potions, Mr. Potter. Inexcusable even for celebrities. Five points from Gryffindor. Potter, go to the Dungeons and fetch the Potion Ingredients for the class. Bring back Wiggentree Bark, Moly, Dittany and Flobberworm Mucous. And quick about it or I shall deduct House points from Gryffindor. Now be gone and don’t come back without the Ingredients! Stop pestering me and get to the Dungeons.Follow past the central pillars and outside walk over the bridge. A camera view will fly to an Ingredient on the opposite side. Harry says: Hmm… That must be Dittany. When Harry crosses the bridge to catch the Dittany, it suddenly collapses and Harry tumbles down to a lower floor. Where am I? I wonder if Snape tricked me? Harry has landed on a lower bridge. Walk up to the Save Book. [3.10] Harry may now enter a room with a Flipendo block locked up in small central room. There are two more tall Flipendo blocks on the opposite side of the small room, past a deep trench. Jump to the opposite side and take a good look at this puzzle. Obviously the blocks will have to be moved with Flipendo. You can see the tracks. You can push a block to the balcony, but the block is too high to climb. Instead, move the blocks one by one toward the middle of the trench. The blocks will slide down in the trench... forming a path.   That will also open the grilles of the central room. Go to the opposite side and push the released block with four Flipendo all the way over the path to the front of the balcony. Harry can now climb the lower block, jump to the balcony and pull up. From what Hermione told me. I think that’s the Moly.   Walk to the Moly and Harry will collect it. That will also open the next grille. Stand on the pedestal and cast Flipendo on the switch. Harry will then be lifted up. Jump off the pole and ascend the stairs. Your next Save Book is left. Better save here   [3.11] The next room contains two Flipendo switches, one left of Harry and one high on the opposite wall. Cast Flipendo at the one on the left wall and two floating blocks will start moving. The first is floating horizontally and the second vertically. Jump on the first one when it approaches. Ride and jump to the second when it has lowered. Turn right and ride up. Harry has access to three floors now. Ride down and jump to the lowest floor, and take the Beans. Careful in this room: there is no floor. Jump to the ledge on the left. Turn around and cast Flipendo at the switch on the opposite wall. Now the door behind Harry will open for a few seconds. Quickly run inside and collect your Wizard Card #49: Elladora Ketteridge, 1656-1729. Witch who discovered the use of Gillyweed. She nearly suffocated after eating it, recovering only when she stuck her head into a bucket of water. Cast Alohomora on the lock and this door will slide upward. Cast Flipendo on the switch and the door on the left will open. Go stand on the plate and cast Flipendo on the switch. Harry will be lifted up. Jump off the lift into a new room with a switch and a door. Flipendo on the switch will open the front door. Jump back to the familiar vertically floating block (careful: Harry has a tendency to over jump; it’s is a tricky jump). Now jump to the second floor without falling in and grab all Beans. Jump back to the block (another tricky jump) and ride up. On top, quickly cast Flipendo on the switch. That will engage another floating block on the third floor. Ride down and up again and finally jump to the third floor. Seize your 1rst Challenge Star. Before jumping on the block open the door with the lock by casting Alohomora. Now jump to the block and ride all the way to your next Save Book. Jump on the block and save your game. [3.12] And it’s still jumping time! There are four floating ledges on your left. Their shape tells you they’re not very stable. Keep running and jumping, they will quickly drop down when you step on them. Run and jump to the platform in front of the wall switch. Cast Flipendo to engage another floating block on your left. First cast Alohomora on the grilled door, and then jump on the block when it approaches. Ride the block to the opposite side, jump to the platform and cast Flipendo on the switch. On your right there is a similar situation. Cast Alohomora on the door and ride the block. On the opposite side jump to the ledge with the Save Book, and save. [3.13] Run and jump again the row of four collapsing blocks and jump to the platform with the Star. Take the 2nd Challenge Star and enter the corridor. When Harry continues left, suddenly a door in front of him will open up and a Ghost dressed like an 18th century Gentile comes floating in his direction. Oh no! It’s the Bloody Baron!   Harry will see how the Bloody Baron floats out of a door that immediately closes again. Do not let him touch you …Auch! Stand aside when he passes. He’s following a steady track. Do not take the stairs on your right but wait for the Baron to return and follow him through the door to a dark room with two chests each standing in an antechamber. Open each chest with Alohomora for a fair number of extra Beans. Stand by the side of the grilled door and wait for the Bloody Baron to fly in or out again and quickly sneak through the door. Run up the stairs and enter a room with 6 Gnomes. Get all six on their but with Flipendo and three doors will slide open. One of the doors gives access to an alcove with a Chocolate Frog. Go get the Frog. Another alcove contains a chest. Open with Alohomora and enjoy the Beans. Cast Flipendo on the Dragon statue. It spins about its axis. Nothing happens. Wanna try Flipendo again? The second time it will shed a number of Beans. Leave by the third door. Grab the Wiggentree Bark and the next door will open. The following room contains a statue and two plates. Move the statue with Wingardium Leviosa onto the left plate. That will open the corresponding grilled cage behind it and a second statue becomes available. Cast Wingardium Leviosa on the second statue and move it onto the second plate. That will open up the second cage and make a third plate available. Move the first statue onto this plate and the exit door will open. Leave. Potions Challenge Find the Potion Ingredients. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. Find 2 Secret Areas. [3.14] Harry arrives inside a very dark and huge tower containing an inner central tower. There are a number of ledges coming in and out of the walls. Jump to the first ledge on your right when it has just turned horizontal, wait for the second to emerge, jump to that one. There are two more ledges until you jump to the balcony with the Save Book, and save. [3.15] Cast Lumos on the Gargoyle and watch how three Magic Clouds are charmed constituting a Magic Stairway to a Challenge Star. Jump from Cloud to Cloud until you reach the ledge with the Star. Collect your 3rd Challenge Star and enter the central tower. Past the entrance on your right there is a Chest. Open with Alohomora and acquire the Ingredient. On the left side of the entrance there is a Flipendo switch. That will open the central cage containing a Potion Ingredient. But Harry can’t access from this side. Return from the Magic Staircase, and continue jumping to the ledges on your left. On top is your next Save Book. [3.16] Cast Lumos on this Gargoyle and watch how a Magic Stairway is charmed to a second entrance of the inner tower. Jump and climb the couple of Clouds and go inside. Harry has now access to the location of the Ingrediënt. Catch the Flobberworm Mucous and an exit door will slide open. Leave by this door, turn right and follow the catwalk around the inner tower to a third entrance. Inside on your right is a Flipendo switch. Stand on the plate by the entrance and charm the switch. The plate appears a pillar that will lift Harry up. Jump off. On top is another switch. Cast Flipendo on it. Turn around and watch how a floating block is engaged. When the block approaches, jump to it and ride to the tower wall. Jump off, climb the steps and save by another Book. [3.17] Continue along the steps to your right. Go left and enter a room where the Bloody Baron is floating around once again. Go to the left and open a chest with Alohomora for extracting a number of Beans. Wait by the chest for the Baron to arrive. Enter behind the Bloody Baron.   Follow the Baron inside the corridor but not through the second door yet. Instead, promptly cast Alohomora on a door to your left. Enter a Secret Room and open the chest with Alohomora. Wait for the Baron to fly in again from your right, and now follow him through the second door. Immediately cast Alohomora on the chest in the corner and take some Beans. Run around the sealed area. Behind the corner enter an antechamber to your left with a Gargoyle. Cast Lumos on the Gargoyle which will charm a floating Magic Cloud. Jump to the Cloud when it approaches and ride to the opposite side. Jump off and turn left, up the stairs. Cast Lumos on the Gargoyle. That will charm two Magic Clouds dancing in a weird pattern. They are each floating in circles. The following two jumps are very tricky since you can’t distinguish very well where and when the Clouds are near. Jump on the first one and wait for the second to approach. Try to figure out at which point both Clouds are nearest, then jump and ride to the balcony with the Save Book. [3.18] Follow the Bloody Baron to your left and sneak in. Going right and left behind the corners you will see a Dragon statue on your right. Cast Flipendo on the statue and a door behind it will open. Pick up the Wizard Card #96: Hengist of Woodcroft, medieval, dates unknown. Driven away from his home by Muggle persecutors, Hengist is supposed to have settled in Scotland where he founded the village of Hogsmeade. The Three Broomsticks Inn is alleged to be Hengist’s former home.Go out and wait until you see the Bloody Baron floating in the left direction. Then, turn right and run till the balcony with the chest. Open it with Alohomora and Harry will be loaded with Beans. Wait on the balcony for the Bloody Baron to return and cautiously follow him all the way back past the exit door. Immediately turn left to the ledge above the sealed room you saw before. Jump down and Cast Flipendo thrice on the block in the direction of the balcony on the opposite side. Jump from the block to the balcony and follow the corridor. You’ll notice an Ingredient at the end of it.   Pick up the Dittany and the exit door will open. Cross the bridge Harry fell through in the beginning and you will meet Professor Snape again: Late again, you lazy boy. A further 3 points from Gryffindor should teach you a lesson. I see you collected a few Challenge Stars, but I’m afraid they have no value in my classroom. I’ve ended the lesson without, Potter. The other students are off to the Halloween feast. Join them, if you must. Hogwarts Main Entrance/Corridor to the Girl's Toilet (Troll) Follow Ron and help find Hermione. [3.19] Harry leaves the Dungeons and enters the Main Entrance. Ron comes running into him: Harry! A huge troll is on the rampage! It’s concerned Hermione in the girl’s toilets! Ron seems upset.   She needs our help! We must try to rescue her straight away! Follow Ron up the Monumental Staircase, but go right instead and cast Flipendo at a jar on your right that has mysteriously resurrected. That will award Harry with an extra Bean. Turn around and pass the tin soldiers: there is another such jar on your left. Cast Flipendo on this one too. Another extra Bean! Now follow Ron. Corridor to the Girl’s Toilet Escape the Troll. [3.20] Ron and Harry are deliberating in front of a locked door. Harry... what’s that smell? All of a sudden the door breaks into pieces and giant Troll with a huge club appears. In true Crash Bandicoot style, Harry has to run away from the Troll in frontal view towards the camera! The only way you will succeed in this hell of a run past staircases and bridges is by controlling Harry with the arrow down and the mouse. There are all kinds of gaps in the floor, so you’ll have to meticulously follow the track of Beans which will lead your jumps over the gaps. Watch the blue Beans carefully while running. When the Beans start getting multi-colored Harry is nearing a gap! Keep running like hell: the Troll is right behind Harry and if you’re hesitating he will knock Harry down with his club.   When you will have reached the Save Book on the way, the worse part will be over. [3.21] Keep running for a short distance and Harry will meet Ron. They’re hiding behind the door to the Girl’s Toilet when the Troll runs in. Harry and Ron run out and the door shuts. Suddenly they hear a fearful cry: Hermione is trapped in there! Harry and Ron run in again and watch the Troll threatening Hermione who is lying on the floor. Harry: The Troll is enormous! Ron: Harry, I’ll try to charm the Troll’s club, so it bashes him on the head! Ron is able to pull the club out of the Troll’s hands with Wingardium Leviosa, but the Troll starts throwing all kinds of junk at Harry. Ron: Cast your Flipendo Spell to keep that junk from hitting us! You’ll have to cast Flipendo on the pieces of junk before they hit Harry or Ron. Meanwhile Ron is diverting the club in the direction of the Troll. The more the club approaches the Troll, the faster he’ll keep throwing things. When the club hits the Troll’s head, he’ll drop down. Hermione! Are you alright? Thanks for saving me! Is it dead?   I think it’s just been knocked out. Come on, let’s get out of here. Quidditch Match: Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw As the Gryffindor Seeker, catch the Golden Snitch and help defeat the Ravenclaw team. [3.22] Exhausted from their encounter with the Troll, Harry, Ron and Hermione returned to the Gryffindor common room and discussed the strange goings-on at Hogwarts. Harry suspected that someone had released the Troll to distract everyone so that they could get into the forbidden corridor. But there wasn’t much time to think about who was behind this, especially since Harry was busy preparing for the second Quidditch match against Ravenclaw.Welcome to Quidditch, I’m your commentator, Lee Jordan. It’s basically the same kind of match like at the end of Level 2: Harry has to catch the Golden Snitch on his broomstick. Careful for these Bludgers, Harry may get badly hurt!   Thanks to Harry’s skill as a Seeker, Gryffindor won the Quidditch match against Ravenclaw. Harry, Ron and Hermione spent most of their free time in Hagrid’s hut, trying to convince him that he couldn’t keep Norbert, his beloved Dragon. Eventually, after much coaxing, Hagrid agreed. Harry unwrapped the unexpected Christmas present: something fluid and silvery slithered out. Ron: It’s an Invisibility Cloak, they’re very rare. There was a note with the cloak: Your father left this in my possession, Harry read. Use it well. A very nice Christmas to you. Harry tried on the Cloak while Ron and Hermione helped him prepare for the climb up the tower. Hermione: Be careful, Harry. You can’t stay invisible while you cast spells. Filch might see you! Level 4: Tower and Library   Sneak up to the Tower Use the Invisibility Cloak to avoid Filch and meet Ron’s brother Charlie. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. Find 1 Secret Area. [4.1] With Norbert safely bundled up, Harry set off for the tallest tower. He hoped that the cloak would conceal him from Filch and his cat, Mrs. Norris. Harry runs through a door behind Argus Filch who is carrying a petrol torch. He turns around: Eh? Whassat! Follow Filch but make sure you stay out of reach of his torch light or he will catch Harry! Turn left behind the corner. Filch will take the left side of the central bookcase. You’d better take the right side, run to the end and walk up a small staircase of three steps around the corner left. From there, cast Alohomora on the opposite door and open it. Promptly Filch will come running in. First climb the bookcase and jump from case to case grabbing a couple of Beans. Then, return to this spot and make sure Filch is walking in the opposite direction. Jump down and leave through the door you’ve just opened. On your left there is a Save Book.   Wait a few seconds and turn right, run up the staircase. In a cut scene you’ll watch Filch leaving this area through a secret door. The door you just ran through closes now. Turn around and go save by that Book. [4.2] Run up the stairs and open the door with Alohomora. Enter and past the corner left you’ll see Filch patrolling again in the upper part of the Library. You’ll also notice a Flipendo switch. Wait for Filch to turn right and run to the alcove between two bookcases where the switch is. Don’t cast Flipendo yet but turn around and watch Filch going up and down. By the opposite bookcase there is a staircase with three steps, similar to the one you just saw downstairs. Now charm that Flipendo switch. In a cinematic you will see how a door unlocks. Immediately Filch will run to the door and say: I’ll catch you, and when I do, you’ll regret it. Meantime you’ve also noticed that the door is at the other end of the Library. As soon as you control Harry after the cinematic, run to the stairs and climb up to the bookcase. Take the two Beans. On the far corner of the bookcase turn right and look down. In front of Harry you can distinguish a Flipendo switch in the dark. Cast Flipendo and the door will now fully open. Once again, Filch will angrily run to the door and keep on cursing. First jump to the other bookcases and grab more Beans. Stand on the last bookcase and from here watch Filch going backward. Jump safely down and leave by the door. Go left and you’ll find your next Save Book. Run to it and you’ll watch Filch disappearing once again by a secret door. Save. [4.3] Turn right and cast Alohomora on the door to open it. Harry enters another room of the Library. Filch is patrolling on the blue carpet. There is a Flipendo switch in the corner on the right, but leave that for the time being. Always aware of Filch turn left and follow the blue carpet till you’ll find an alcove on your left with a door and a lock. Open it with Alohomora. Quickly run inside the room and you’ll hear Filch laughing behind you. But he won’t follow in. When he has left, cast Flipendo on the wall switch. That will open a grilled door higher up. Now how can I get up there? , says Harry. Go out this room and return to the Flipendo switch you just saw in the corner. Now cast Flipendo (from a distance) and the bookcase will fall down forming a ramp to the top of the cases. Quickly jump on that ramp before Filch catches you (he’ll come running to this spot) and walk up. Jump from bookcase to bookcase and catch the Beans. Harry can reach the entrance you just saw. Go inside and cast Flipendo at the switch on your left, which will open a door downstairs. Immediately Filch will run to that spot, so you can see where it is located. There is a door with a lock in the unveiled small room. Go out here and jump back to the opposite bookshelf. Standing at the corner of the bookshelf turn left and from there cast Alohomora on the door in the alcove. When Filch has gone jump down and cast Flipendo on the switch inside the new room. That will open another grille upstairs. Return to the ramp and ascend. Find your way to the new area and enter. On your right there is a Flipendo switch and on your left there is a grille preventing access to a Gargoyle. Cast Flipendo on the switch and an exit door will open downstairs to a second room. Go down through that door and on your right enter a third room with a Flipendo switch. Cast Flipendo on the switch and the Gargoyle upstairs will become accessible. Go up to the Gargoyle and cast Lumos. That will charm a staircase of three Magic Clouds in the second room. Jump and climb from Cloud to Cloud and up to the balcony. Take a Bean. Look down and observe a Flipendo switch in the fourth room. Jump down; there is also a Gargoyle in a niche. Cast Flipendo on the switch which will open one door and close another, whilst Filch will disappear again through a secret door. Cast Lumos on the Gargoyle. Now it’s becoming really weird. You’ll see a number of Magic Clouds and another area with a Gargoyle. Go out this niche and turn right into a new room with three Magic Clouds. Jump from Cloud to cloud and up to the balcony. Go to the other side, where there are three more Magic clouds in the air. Jump from Cloud to Cloud to a higher balcony and grab a Bean. Cross the balcony and you’ll see a Magic cloud. Jump from there to a higher balcony. There is an alcove with a Gargoyle, the one you just saw in a cut scene. Cast Lumos on him and that will charm one more Magic cloud in the previous area. Return to the previous balcony and jump to the Cloud, and from there to a new balcony. Cross the balcony and jump to another Cloud and from there to the next balcony. Take a Bean and turn left. Here are two Magic clouds. Look down and you’ll notice a chest under a bright stained glass window. Jump to the first Cloud. Jump all the way down. In this corridor you’ll find a Flipendo switch on one side and a chest on the other. Cast Alohomora on the chest and acquire your Wizard Card #72: Helga Hufflepuff, Medieval Wizard, dates unknown. Co-founder of Hogwarts. Gave her name to one of the four Hogwarts houses. Turn around and cast Flipendo on the switch. That will open the door on your right side. Harry is back in the lower room with the Gargoyle. Go left and ascend the staircase of three Magic clouds once again. Jump to the balcony and cross it. On the other side there are your three other Magic Clouds. Jump from there to the balcony. Now turn around and jump to the next higher Magic Cloud. From here jump to the balcony on your right. Turn left and now Harry is back in front of the two Clouds where he jumped down to the chest a while ago. Jump from Cloud to Cloud to the next balcony. On your right cast Alohomora on the door with the lock and open it. Here is your next Save Book. Open the Painting with Alohomora and find a chest full of Beans.   [4.4] Turn left and go to the balcony. You’ll find a staircase of Magic Clouds. Jump from Cloud to Cloud and from the 6th and highest Cloud you’ll see Flich patrolling with his oil lamp once again.   Jump to the ledge when the coast is clear and promptly proceed to the room in front of Harry. Cast Flipendo at the sign on your right. That will let the bridge rotate through a quarter circle. Filch runs to the opposite side: D’you think I’m blind? I’m not letting anyone into that tower tonight! Go out and walk to the top of the bridge. A cut scene will give you a view of two jars on the right side. One of the jars breaks into pieces and... Peeves emerges! Promptly Filch runs to Peeves: Peeves, you’ll be banished for this! From the top of the bridge our clever friend Harry Potter observes this event: That could come in handy if I have to distract Filch along the way. Still standing on this position, cast Flipendo at a jar on Harry’s left side. Filch will run to that spot and now Harry can run up the spiral staircase to the tower.   Ron’s brother, Charlie, had arranged to collect the Dragon from the tower and return him to Romania. Sneak down from the Tower Use the Invisibility Cloak to avoid Filch and Mrs. Norris. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. Find 1 Secret Area. [4.5] Harry came down from the tower and we’ll find him back by the bridge that turned before. Filch walks over the bridge and meets his dear cat, Mrs. Norris.Mrs. Norris! I could have sworn I heard footsteps in here, but … bah. Let’s check the Library, my sweet. Obviously Filch is fond of Mrs. Norris!   Filch walks away and a door closes behind his back. However, the door has an Alohomora lock! Don’t go after the jars with Flipendo, there is nothing in there.Cross the bridge to the room where Filch just disappeared and open the door on your left with Alohomora. Inside turn right, Harry will be walking on a green carpet. Go down the stairs, follow left and you’ll watch Filch going into the Library. The door closes behind his back, but again, there is an Alohomora lock on this door too.Open the door and a cut scene shows Filch spitting out his angry sentences: Aha! I’ve heard you for sure this time! Quick, Mrs. Norris – you keep watch from above! You’ll not past me now, you rotten little guttersnipes. Now Filch is really getting mean.Mrs. Norris is patrolling on top of the bookcases. You’ll have to be careful here! Turn right and Harry will arrive at another section of the vast Library in Hogwarts. Go left and you’ll notice a Flipendo switch on the bookcase in the middle of the room. Cast Flipendo on it: the bookcase will fall down and create a ramp to the upper banisters. Mrs. Norris is jumping from case to case. Let her jump to the central bookcase and then you should jump over the banister.Take that Bean and run to the end of the walkway. When Mrs. Norris returns you’ll have to make it to the opposite walkway: jump over the bookcases. Go left and take that green Bean. Turn left and follow the staircase down. On your right side, Filch is standing with his back to Harry. Better don’t disturb him. Go straight to the door with the lock and cast Alohomora on it to open. Go in this room, turn left and run to the Save Book. Filch will “sense” Harry being there and shout: Intruder! That guy has no happiness in his life. Filch will disappear through another secret door. Meantime, go to the Book and save the game.   [4.6] To your right there are three Library rooms in a row. Filch and Mrs. Norris are patrolling in the third room. Go to the right side in a fourth room. You’ll see a Flipendo switch on a bookcase there.   That will tilt the bookcase forming another ramp to the second floor. Nearly-Headless-Nick will show up: Hello again, Harry. How’s the Bean collecting? Fred and George are up to their usual tricks, I presume. I heard about your Quidditch victory. Yes, well done, Harry. On to the Cup, eh what? But now comes the important thing after al that babbling: Nick points to the left, and that’s the direction that Harry has to follow.Ascend the ramp and jump over the banister, turn left. Past the corner jump on the banister and from there to the bookcases. First jump to the left bookcase. Filch is patrolling down there, so better don’t fall down! You’ll see Nick on the opposite side. Nearly-Headless-Nick points in the direction Harry has to follow   From this bookcase jump to the other balcony with the green-and-purple colored Bean. Behind the corner you’ll see Nick on the opposite side point again in the direction you’ll have to follow. Climb the banister and jump to the two bookcases and from there to the opposite walkway (make sure you jump SKEW: Harry always has the tendency to jump too far, and he would fall down). Go right, pass behind the corner, and climb the banister. You’ll see Nick once again on the opposite side pointing to the left. Jump to the bookcase with the red-and-black Bean. Then, jump to the bookcase on your right and take the blue Bean. Turn left and jump to the next bookcase, in front of the balcony where you just spotted Nick. Climb to this balcony, pass behind the corner and you’ll see Nick disappearing through a grilled door. Turn left and climb the banister. Mrs. Norris is jumping from bookcase to bookcase. When she’s on the opposite walkway, jump to the bookcase with the red-and-black Bean. Jump to two more bookcases and finally to the second section – where Nick is now standing. Follow left and go down the stairs. Cast Alohomora on the door to open it. In this corridor turn right and on your left side there is another door to open with Alohomora. Now Harry is arriving in a room with a mirror. Reflected in the Mirror of Ensed were Harry’s parents, James and Lily Potter.   Harry stared hungrily back, as though hoping to fall right through the glass and reach them. He was startled when a voice sounded behind him. Harry turned slowly about. So you, like hundreds before you, have discovered the delights of the Mirror of Ensed, said Professor Dumbledore. He went on to explain that the Mirror showed nothing more or nothing less than the deepest, most desperate desire of our hearts but that it would give neither knowledge nor truth. The Mirror of Ensed will be moved to a new home shortly, Dumbledore went on, adding, ominously, that if Harry ever came across it again, he would be prepared. But prepared for what? Thought Harry.   After that, Filch orders Mrs. Norris to guard this part of the Library, while he disappears through a secret door: Filthy whelps gave us the slip, Mrs. Norris. I’ve locked the only door out of here for the sake of the nerves. Stay here and watch the Library for a bit, my dear. We’ll find Harry back in a corridor. Cast Alohomora on the door and open it. Harry enters the Library again. Go up the stairs. There is something magical blue over there: cast Alohomora on it. Doors will open and you’ll find your way to a next Save Book. First cast Alohomora on the mirror left of the Save Book.   The mirror becomes transparent: enter the Secret Room and open the chest with Alohomora. No, not a Wizard Card... just some Beans! Now go out of this room and save! [4.7] Turn around and go right. On your right there is a door to be opened with Alohomora. Harry will be in the Library again. Climb from the table to the bookcase and jump over the banister. Proceed to a door with a lock and open it with Alohomora. Now Harry will enter some sort of a chapel and Filch is there again: Only way out of this room is past that gate. It makes an awful racket. You take that side of the room, and I’ll take this one. We’ll catch them, Mrs. Norris. Filch really doesn’t give up. Jump to the banister. By the far window you’ll notice a red Bean. Jump from beam to beam.   Take the Bean and jump down to a stone wall. Turn left, and when Filch and his cat are out of sight jump down and run to the room. There is a statue you have to move with Wingardium Leviosa. Move it onto the plate and you’ll watch a cut scene where a heavy weight will be lifted.   Now you’ll have to run out of here and find the other rooms with similar statues. Run to the opposite side, there is a second room. Cast Wingardium Leviosa to lift the other weight. Go out here and run right, there is a third room with a statue. Move it and go to the opposite side, to the fourth room. Move this statue and the two weights will have fully uplifted. You can leave here. Not before Peeves opens the door, that is. Filch is angry with Peeves again and is escaping once again through a secret door that opens and closes. Mrs. Norris stays in the chapel room. Run past the door and watch how Fred and George are emerging from behind another secret door. Join them and you’ll be taken deep down by an elevator. Once in the cellar go to the Twins: Hy, Harry! Do you have 25 Beans for us?  Well you know the procedure by now. Harry will get the Wizard Card #82: Rowena Ravenclaw, Medieval Wizard, dates unknown. Co-founder of Hogwarts. Gave her name to one of the four Hogwarts houses. Return to the elevator and go up. Harry will be in that corridor again. On the other end there is a spiral staircase. Go down and your game will be automatically saved. Level 5: The Philosopher’s Stone The Forbidden Corridor Stop Snape from stealing the Philosopher’s Stone. Find 1 secret Wizard Card. [5.1] Hermione, Ron and Harry researched the Secret of the Philosopher’s Stone: it could produce the Elixir of Life, a potion that would make anyone immortal. No wonder someone’s trying to get it! Anyone would want it, said Harry. Hermione suspected that the package Hagrid had taken from Gringotts contained the Philosopher’s Stone. It was the Philosopher’s Stone that was down the forbidden corridor, being guarded by whatever it was that had growled at them! A few minutes later our three friends are gathering at the Gryffindor Common Room: Snape’s been acting very suspicious lately. He may be planning to steel the Philosopher’s Stone, said Hermione. Ron: But there’s no way Snape would try anything while Dumbledore’s around. Hermione: But Dumbledore left ten minutes ago for the Ministry of Magic in London! That must mean that tonight’s the night! Let’s go!   The three leave by the Lady Portrait’s door and Hermione wonders: What about Filch? He’s always watching the forbidden corridor. Ron: We’ll just have to take our chances then! They’re running up the stairs to the entrance of the forbidden corridor: Phew! It looks like Filch is somewhere else tonight. They open the grilled door: Come on, let’s go! Just behind the corner left, Harry finds his Save Book.   [5.2] Open the chest on your right with Alohomora and get two Chocolate Frogs. But the chest also contains an invaluable treasure: your Wizard Card #83: Roderick Plumpton, 1889-1987, Seeker for England’s Quidditch Team. Holds British record for fastest capture of Snitch during game: three and a half seconds. This is Harry’s 24th Wizard Card. To unlock the secret Wizard Card: get 250 Bertie Bott’s Beans, then defeat He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. Wonder who that might be?Continue in the dark corridor. Ron and Hermione will call you: This way, Harry! Follow left around the corner. The others are waiting in front of a gate. Hermione: I think that is where the growling has been coming from! Ron: Hear that? I don’t think we should go in there! Hermione: But we’ve got to stop Snape! Go on Harry. We’re right behind you. The door is opening... brrr!   They’ll meet a giant dog with three heads like Cerberus! Only Hagrid would call this monster Fluffy! Harry remembers the flute he got from Hagrid: I’ll try the flute. That might put Fluffy to sleep for a while.   This is a tricky experiment. You’ll have to run from one head to another, and quite close – otherwise the flute would not produce a single tone. When a dog’s head is opening its mouth, quickly retreat to not get hurt. Keep playing till all heads are sleepy and the monster will fall down. A hatch will open now on the spot where the monster was standing.   You want to go first, Hermione? Says Ron. No, I don’t! Ron: Right, see you in a minute, I hope. It’s okay, it’s a soft landing. You can jump! Come on, Harry! Harry jumps in... your game will be saved. The Devil’s Snare Stop Snape from stealing the Philosopher’s Stone [5.3] Harry falls down into some kind of swamp. Hermione and Ron are trapped by what looks like carnivorous plants. I know what this is! It’s the Devil’s Snare! Next time I’m going to pay more attention in Herbology! Hermione (captured) warns Harry: Try not to get too close to those tentacles! Harry has to fight some sort of arcade game now. He can walk from left to right. You’ll have to cast Incendio on the tentacles. They’ll grow fast but don’t let them touch Harry! Free Ron and Hermie by casting Incendio. When Ron and Hermione are released our friends walk up some stairs. The Winged Keys Catch the Winged Key. [5.4] Harry, Ron and Hermione arrive at a sort of Cathedral. You’ll have to catch the Key, Harry! Ron says: Time to put your Quidditch skills into practice! Harry climbs on his broomstick and up he goes! Good luck, Harry! You’re in flight again! Try to fly through the colored hoops. It’s a hell of a flight! And there are all kinds of butterflies that may lower Harry’s stamina! Approach the Key... and press jump to catch it!   Now the problem is: this doesn’t always work, you may try it a lot of times.   After Harry’s victory a door will open: Let’s see where that leads. The Chess Game Defeat the giant chess pieces. [5.5] Hermione says: the next puzzle is a gigantic chess board! Ron’s gone through to play. I hope he’s alright! Turn right and run up these stairs. Here is your next Save Book [5.6] Turn left and find your way up to the chess board. In front of the chess board Harry finds Hermione and Ron, who is lying on the floor, slightly hurt. Oh, Ron are you alright? Ron: I defeated most of the pieces, but I’ve been hurt! It’s up to you now Harry! Hermione: Harry, you have to be careful and avoid the pieces. They all move one square at a time. You have to make the pieces fight each other in order to get across safely. Walk on to the board, Harry, to start the game. When you run to the board two pieces will fight and slaughter each other. The other pieces all move one square. Move the marker with the arrow keys and stand in it. Move the marker away from the last two pieces and go stand in it. They’ll slaughter each other. Come on, let’s go!  Says Hermione. Both leave by the door on the opposite side of the board. The Final Encounter Stop Quirrell from reaching the Philosopher’s Stone. [5.7] Follow Hermione running up the stairs. She’ll leave through a door. Find your Save Book by the door.   [5.8] Walk through the door to the table with the potions. Oh no!  Hermione is coming in: The exit is blocked by magical fire! Looks like you have to choose the right potion. Be careful Harry, it could be poison! This one looks like it would help us through the fire!   Watch closely and keep your eye on the correct potion. Then choose wisely. The potion Harry will need is the smoking one. Then, all potions will be shuffled: just follow the correct one and cast Flipendo on the bottle. The shuffling will be repeated three more times, and always faster. There is no straight pattern: it’s always different with every game you play. If you keep picking the correct Phial, eventually Hermione will say: You’ve got to find Snape on your own. I’ll go back and help Ron. She will leave through the door. Harry is now able to run through the magic fire. Turn right and open a chest with Alohomora. You’ll get some Chocolate Frogs.Proceed to the other side and head to the Save Book. A cut scene will show how Quirrell leaves through a door. Save here   [5.9] Turn right and jump from platform to platform. The music is getting really wild now. Approach the door and it will open. Go inside and the door will close behind Harry’s back. I wondered whether I’d be meeting you here Potter. I suppose you were expecting someone else. Well it’s me: Scared, stuttering Professor Quirrell   No one could have expected this: Quirrell is the mean guy, not Snape!! You are far too inquisitive to remain among the living, he goes on. Quirrell will start throwing magic fireballs at Harry: watch them. You can hide behind the Flipendo blocks. You will have to move the blocks with Flipendo. There are two Chocolate Frogs. Quirrell will try to push the blocks back; so make sure you place them behind the squares on the floor. Move a small and a tall block close to the balcony and climb from one to the other, and on the balcony. Curses, Potter. Quirrell leaves for the back room with the mirror of Ensed. There is a Save Book and four Chocolate Frogs. Get fully healthy and save for the final battle. [5.10] Enter the room and a cut scene will show how the image of Harry in the Mirror of Ensed has the Philosopher’s Stone! Give me the Stone, says Quirrell. And another voice comes in: Let me speak to him, face to face. Quirrell: Master, you are not strong enough! I have strength enough for this! Quirrell removes his turban and he rotates his head through half a circle: another face is unveiled! That face was behind the turban all the time! Dieeee Potterrrrrrr! Lord Voldemort charms a ring of fire so Harry could not escape. Hide behind one of the big pillars and wait till Voldemort starts shaking it with magic spells. He’s right behind the pillar: cast Flipendo on the pillar and it will fall on his head. When it falls, promptly run away because he will fire a green shot. Keep an eye on Voldemort’s life meter down below the screen. And, especially, watch Harry’s stamina. It may go down fast when you should get hit. When all pillars are down, Lord Voldemort’s life meter should be halfway down. Go to the center of the arena and cast Flipendo on the Mirror of Ensed when Lord Voldemort will cast his magic spells. They will be reflected and hurt him. Not an easy thing though, you may try it several times. The important thing is: keep running left and right and avoiding the green magic balls that Lord Voldemort is constantly firing at Harry. Get him behind the reflection side of the Mirror and his own magic will be returned. Quickly cast Flipendo on the mirror and keep running around again. This is a hard battle, but it merely illustrates what a magnificent game this is. Harry faints and Albus Dumbledore will rescue him. Dumbledore smiled. What happened down in the dungeons between yourself and Professor Quirrell is a complete secret, he said, so, naturally, the whole school knows. The Stone had been destroyed, but Harry remained fearful that its loss would not prevent Lord Voldemort’s return. Dumbledore nodded, sharing his concern. Nevertheless, Harry – if our battles do no more than slow Voldemort’s return, with luck he may never regain his power at all.So, the Stone’s gone? Said Ron, finally. Harry nodded and wished it good riddance.   Then Ron produced a brand new Famous Witches and Wizards Card from his robes and handed it to Harry: You’ve got the whole set now, Harry, Ron said. Harry was stunned. Harry made his way down to the end-of-year feast alone that night. The Great Hall was decked out in green and silver, to celebrate Slytherin winning the House Cup. When Harry entered there was a sudden hush. He took a seat between Ron and Hermione, trying to ignore the stares of the other students.   The House Cup, announced Dumbledore, is awarded to the team with the most House points. At the moment, that would seem to be Slytherin.   A storm of cheering and stamping broke out from the Slytherin table. However, continued Dumbledore, in recognition of Mr. Harry Potter’s pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor sixty points.Harry’s table erupted with cheers and applause. The additional points had won the House Cup for Gryffindor! It was the best evening of Harry’s life. Better than winning at Quidditch or Christmas, or knocking out mountain trolls. He would never, ever forget tonight. The End [5.11] And now we’ll all see what kind of joke the twins Fred and George had planned for the Headmaster of Slytherin, Professor Snape: he’s buried under Beans! Meantime let’s find out what special Wizard Card Harry got form Ron: The Bonus Card that Harry got   Wizard Card #100: Harry Potter, ???? – present. The boy who lived.Quite touching, isn’t it?
