Hints: ------ - Typing HELP sometimes may give an useful hint in this game. - There is a lot of tasks in the game which are not necessary to do - they only increases the score. In fact, the game is finished when you peer the mirror in the Throne Room. Especially, some not so easy puzzles at the end of the game need not to be solved if you don't want the maximal score. - Beware that the game contains some one-directional paths, so be sure that you have finished all you can do in one stage of the game before entering an another one. - The order of passing grottos at the beginning of the game is important, else the door will not appear. - Do not spend too much time at the bottom of tower steps. If you fall down, there is no escape! - Going down the pit in the dark dungeon is a very bad idea. - Note that you will become ravenous each time you enter the road that leads to a tower. So, beware that you can't enter this location again once your hunger is sated. Else, there will no be any help... Comment: -------- A relatively good illustrated adventure game, written by Terry Braverman from Automata Software, using The Quill. Note that Automata is not famous as an adventure game creators. Although Automata (arcade) games are often very strange and sometimes quite obscure, this game is a standard adventure game, even with a bit stereotype scenario. The parser in the game is a strict verb-noun parser (as with all Quill-based games). The game is not very hard to solve, although there are some guess-the-verb puzzles.
